  • Fixed a bug that affected some players where infiltrations were losing track of which soldiers were assigned to them, rendering the soldiers unusable and the mission unplayable
  • Upon loading an existing save with this update, Covert Infiltration will automatically attempt to fix broken infiltrations and soldiers

  • Chosen are now re-rolled on assault missions after completing another mission
  • Base Chosen spawn chance has been rebalanced from 40%/67%/80%/100% to 25%/40%/67%/80%/100% (mission count since last encountering that specific chosen)
  • Infiltrating SPARKs no longer cause "idle soldier in engineering" reminder
  • Infiltrating SPARKs are now properly removed from the list of candidates for the repair slot (also fixes the confusing error popup which happened if you attempted to actually staff an infiltrating SPARK into the repair slot)
  • In-mission tutorial regarding the DVIP capture requirement for facility lead is now always shown (irrespective of the tutorial option in MCM and whether you have seen it before or not)
  • In-mission tutorial about the Supply Extraction changes is now controlled by a dedicated MCM option
  • Internal code improvements for mod authors that build against CI

The Chosen Update

  • Fixed the logic that governs random Chosen spawns on assault missions (before it behaved unpredictably)
  • Reduced the number of assault missions (since the last Chosen encounter) on which Chosen cannot appear randomly from 3 missions to 1
  • Reduced the base chance for a Chosen to spawn on 2nd mission since the last encounter from 80% to 67%
  • Optimized mod assets, including bringing the mod size down to 34 MB

  • Temporarily removed the "Greater Resolve" resistance card - it was reported to be bugged with CI. We plan to fix the interaction and restore the card eventually.
  • Removed some code that should've been migrated to Living Space long ago.
