Galactic Contention 2.17 update from 700MB to 4GB depending if you downloaded the previous small patch.

- Admin menu and spawn menu for admin edited (Zeus mode)

Halloween Event

- Capped air vehicle altitude capacity on every map to further prevent air assault from far above
- Optimization tweaks
- 13th Legion added for Halloween
- Halloween'ed Droids
- Orange and purple blasters
- NVG tweaks for both teams
- Droid HUD showing clone hud adjusted
- Tuskens have a new logi vehicle that is way smaller to prevent cap/flip issues
- Fixed Mygeeto collision issues and bridge lip unable to accept vehicle near mid cap.
- Various optimization tweaks.

Galactic Contention Clone Update!

6GB size update.

- New curved HUDs for everyone!
- All clone legions have been updated to new models + textures
- New commando models and textures
- New clone weapon models
- New animation sets
- New sights on every clone weapons.
- New DC-15LE available
- New DC-15s-UGL(Under barrel Grenade Launcher (smoke only))
- New LAAT skins. The skins will change differ everytime it respawn.
- New 1 seated sail skiff available for tuskens
- New detonation star wars pack.
- New ammo crate mesh (Welcome Gonk)
- New weapon animation sounds
- New Tactical Droid available
- New Rallies
- On some DC weapon, there are HUD gadgets
- Random skins on certain vehicles upon spawn
- Update specficic commander actions
- eWebs and AA have less fireshake to aid and improve stationary emplacements.
-* Phystmat material update. Player health is no longer absorbing damage (armor). The damage is directly received. TTK should be faster. We will monitor this change heavilly.
-* Random skin variation upon spawn should be available in a future update for GC.

Maps:

-- Lots of lighting layer improvements.
-- New Coruscant meshes and material upgrades
-- Mygeeto expansion.
-- Morak have been scracthed and redone for a newer Morak
-- Kavado overhaul. Most of Kavado was re-done to improve FPS (still a WIP) and improve gameplay (especially main camping).
-- Tatooine touch up edits to prevent main camping. 1 / 2 way see through clouds.
-- New Rhenvar tunnels for skirmish created. Old one was scracthed.
-- Kamino training map re-done.
- Bespin Cloud Platforms a 1 / 2 way see through clouds to prevent main camping and aid air transport. (This should also prevent TOW main camping)

Optimization:

- Lots of unusued assets/textures have been deleted.
- Unsued maps have been deleted
- New HLODS for current map set available
- AI pathing redone. The server and AI will spawn a nav mesh within a acceptable radius to prevent server performance and mod size increase for static NAV MESH base...
- AI tagging.
- Command ships have new shield material to help optimization and vision
- Flashlight edits
- Night Vision edits
- Clone/Droid HUD can be activated by pressing Shift + 6
- Starting to change the loading screen for the better.

Gameplay:

- We redid the admin menu for a 3rd time to aid server admins and GLOPs.
- New gameplay TTK
- Recoil adjustment
- Weapon sway (shaking) fixed.
- Screen bluriness from supression far away is fixed.
- DC-17 & R4GD pistol have been buffed. Makes x2.5 more damage but their clip size went from 50 to 12. The pistol is a very good backup now.
- Jetpack trooper and allied Geonosian are limited to 4 per team. Except the Geonosian team.
- Heavy Rifleman limited to 1 per squad instead of 2 to help people to give ammo with the riflemen kit
- Riflemen ammo bag contains 125 ammo instead of 100.
- Riflemen ammo bag new design
- New commando Armor, Health and Bacta passive heal
- New SBD HUD, Armor, Health and run speed!
- SBD wrist rocket Buff/Nerf. 15 meters radius slow infantry rockets. Rockets do barely any damage on vehicles from now on.
- Commando's no longer have an incendiary detonator but a detonation pack with a 30 second timer
- Tusken bolt rifle shoots 2x faster (bolt action). Reload time is slightly faster. This will give achance to the bolt rifle in CQC areas.
- Lowered recoil kick on Cycler MG-3
- Lowered recoil kick on DC15A and E5C-r
- Gungan sonic blaster nerfed to 1 round per mag. Gungan have 2 mag.
- Gungan sonic blaster option available if a quota of a 6 gungans is in the squad to prevent SONIC rounding.
- 2 new gungan class available due to the change above. One SL class (Gungan SL Elite) and one riflemen class (Gungan Elite).
- Weapon scoped FOV
- Weapon sights can be changed by pressing the ranging key.
- Grenade launcher sight adjusted for the correct ranging. Direct - 50 - 100 - 150 - 200.
