Update: Feb 25, 2021 @ 12:07pm

Patch Version 1.1

New content and features
- 1 new animal recruitable at the beastmaster (Lion)
- 4 new enemies (Chasmosaurus, Lion, Parasaurolophus, Rhino)
- 9 new items (Chasmosaurus Beak, Enhanced Dynamite, Lion Pelt, Parasaurolophus Crest, Pterodactyl Wing, Rhino Horn), including cursed artifacts (The Basano Vase, The Hope Diamond, The Iceman)
- 2 new chat line (Charismatic Speech, Discovery)
- You can now visit Giant Trees and Mountain Faces and paint them

Bug fixes
- Restored the old Cartographer (now called Navigator) icon to the Navigator perk so that it has a different sprite to Impetus
- The Enemy Attention status effect now uses a new target image instead of the cannibal status' skull image
- Schroedinger's buried treasure location now works again
- The Waterproof perk now correctly states that it also reduces movement costs in swamps
- The animal trainer will no longer be available at the ship on the next expedition if you escaped via the hot air balloon

Balance changes
- Adjusted the amount of days required for 100% compass accuracy for each expedition:
Expedition 1: 100 days for medium/hard (was 80/160)
Expedition 2: 120 days for medium/hard (was 120/240)
Expedition 3: 140 days for medium/hard (was 160/320)
Expedition 4: 160 days for medium/hard (was 200/400)
Expedition 5: 200 days for medium/hard (was 240/480)
Expedition 6: 240 days for medium/hard (was 280/560)
This was adjusted for multiple reasons. Firstly, the 1st expedition's medium difficulty was out of line with the rest. Secondly, by the time the compass becomes 100% accurate on the other expeditions on medium difficulty, it's already too late and some of the rivals will have already finished. Thirdly, the hard difficulty compass requirements were ridiculous and this made the compass literally useless for hard expeditions. Fourthly, the hard difficulty setting already requires you to get to the pyramid and back to the ship again. There's no need to increase the time requirement for hard expeditions because of this since you will be behind, or most usually, last if you haven't found the pyramid by the time the compass is accurate. Fifthly, the absurd time requirement for hard difficulty expeditions made the Navigator perk completely useless. The whole point of the compass is to bring your expedition to a close typically after you're behind schedule or already last. The compass and the Navigator perk should now be usable in hard difficulties.
- Tigers have been replaced with Lions on Drylands worlds. This is because Tigers typically roam tropical forests whereas Lions are typically found in savanna
- The Stealth perk now decreases combat chance by 25/35/45/55% (was 20/30/40/50%)
- The Butterfly Enthusiast perk now allows the explorer to discover up to 3 butterflies per expedition
- The Careerist perk now gives an additional 75% chance of increasing loyalty by +1 (was +50% chance), making 100% chance altogether. It also now increases chance of gaining additional exploration points by +30% per location discovery
- The Charismatic perk now also restores an angry character's loyalty once per expedition, making the perk more worthwhile to take
- The Explosion Expert perk now also replaces standard dynamite with enhanced dynamite, which has new and advanced combat attacks
- The Lone Survivor perk now massively buffs your main explorer if they're on their own
- The Pacifist perk now decreases aggro chance by 50% instead of 25%
- The Polymath perk now also allows you to research a perk at the start of the expedition (at the ship). Doing so gives you a random explorer perk that you don't already have for the duration of that expedition
- The Occult Vision perk now also gives you a random scroll at the start of each expedition
- Cooking meat now uses a chance-based system. Instead of cooking a specific type of meat, the Culinary Finesse perk now increases the chance of cooking higher-quality meat
- Lentil Soup now has a max stack of 20 (was 10)

Update: Dec 31, 2020 @ 8:23am

Patch version 1.0

New content and features
- Players can no longer re-enter a village which they just raided a moment before
- 2 new Old Camp events (Survivor and Monster, which has 10 outcomes)
- 1 new enemy (Pterodactyl)

Bug fixes
- Fixed bug where the no sanity Dirty Water event was continuously triggering with no effect, allowing players to infinitely continue and disregard sanity. This has also resulted in the no sanity Dirty Water event being split into two events
- Fixed bug where the low sanity Dirty Water event could trigger when there were no party members other than the leader, and when this triggered it had no effect. This has also resulted in the low sanity Dirty Water event being split into three events
- Fixed bug where the no sanity Flood event wouldn't trigger in grass biomes
- Fixed multiple bugs with Schistosomiasis, where the status did not correctly apply moderate or severe levels of atrophy, and also where the status didn't last for the correct amount of time

Balance changes
- The no sanity Flood event now only triggers if there are at least two non-extra characters in the party. This stops Flood from potentially providing additional time to an effectively-defeated party
- The no sanity Sandstorm and Volcanic Eruption events now only trigger if there are at least two non-extra characters in the party and only one Sandstorm and one Volcanic Eruption event can be triggered per game. This also stops these events from continuously triggering when the player has no sanity, allowing them to continue with ease
- The Grim Reaper event now only triggers if the player has items with a combined value of at least 60. This stops the event from potentially providing additional time to an effectively-defeated party
- Slightly increased chances of bad weather zones in non-desert environments
- Slightly increased chances of finding white sabertooth tigers and sermiliks in arctic environments
