Hotfix
-Fixed several bugs with the colonial purchase system for the Swedish Empire.
-Fixed a bug where the mission for the integration of Norway would loop infinitely.
-Removed a Soviet event that triggers when Finland goes communist, attempting to annex them.

V2.0 Land of a Thousand Lakes Update
Finland
•Now fully playable! Features 7 unique paths and several different formable nations unique to them!

Russia
•Added new flags for the Russian Empire (Romanovs) and for Kolchak's Russian Empire. Additionally, issues with flags not displaying properly for save files should now be fixed.
•Updated the names of ship templates that had communist names to non-communist ones.
•Fixed a bug where the game would say that the Russian player has available dockyards, at game start, when they don't.
•Swapped the victory point values of Petrograd and Moscow.
•Fixed a bug where Tannu Tuva would show up in the wars tab when they shouldn't exist.

Japan
•Fixed a decision for communist Japan to request help from the Soviets. South Sakhalin was given to the Soviet tag, thus bringing them into the game. This decision now requires Russia to be communist and the territory will be given to the Russian tag.

Spain
•A bug where the Spanish Civil War would not fire has been fixed. It should proceed as normal now.

Miscellaneous
•Added Kyrgyzstan back in as a releasable nation.

Known Bugs
•For whatever reason, if you go down the Swedish Empire route and win the civil war against Sweden and the Republic of Finland, your capital will still be set as Helsinki, instead of Stockholm. This may not have a direct fix, as it seems to be an issue with "set capital" command not firing properly when at war (i.e. an issue with HoI4 itself, not the mod). I will continue looking for a workaround.

Russian Translation Update (Обновление русского перевода)
-Just an update for the Russian translation. This should not affect saved games.
-Просто обновление для русского перевода. Это не должно влиять на сохраненные игры.


Известная проблема: локализация для некоторых внутриигровых модификаторов и национальных фокусов нарушена. Это проблема с версией игры 1.9.0, и автор не может её исправить. Нам всем просто придется подождать следующего патча, так как я протестировал его на 1.9.1, и локализация работает нормально.

Hotfix
•Spain should now be fully reverted back to normal. I'd forgotten to delete a couple files I'd used to neuter Spain, but these should now be gone. Sorry for the inconvenience, this may break saves.
•Russian generals have been reworked. Some have been buffed, some have been nerfed, and some have been removed, namely any communist generals that would not have been a part of a White Russia after the civil war (sorry Zhukov).
•Generals have been added to Ukraine.
•Mongolia has had some slight cosmetic changes, but that's it so far.

v1.6 Russian AI Update

Russia
•Added difficulty slider for Russia and removed the slider for the Soviet Union.
•Functioning AI for each path in the Russian focus tree (with the exception of Anastasia's).
•Custom game rules have been added to allow the player to manually choose the path the Russian AI will go down.
•The Democratic Wrangel path is now the "canon" or historical path that the AI will go down on default historical settings.
•Complete overhaul of many focuses, events, and decisions to allow other countries to refuse things such as joining Russia's faction, accepting Russia into a faction, automatic annexations, and undesirable national spirits being added (such as Trotsky's Bolshevik influence decisions). In most cases, the AI will still accept these things, but a player can now refuse them.
•Changes to the names of Russian ships to no longer be communist in nature, and when possible, reverted back to their names during their service in the Russian Empire's fleets. If I couldn't find historical names, I utilized those used in Kaiserreich.

Germany
•The focus "War with Russia" now grants Germany a temporary national spirit that grants a 20% attack bonus against Russia for 180 days, to better represent Operation Barbarossa. I understand this is not a perfect representation and I will tweak it as needed. From my playtesting, I've found this allows Germany to make early gains against Russia and its allies, before eventually slowing down and turning into a slog as it did historically. I had to add this in, as with the removal of the "Officers Purged" national spirit, Russia was able to hold indefinitely with Germany racking up mass casualties as it endlessly cycle attacks.

Spain
•Changes to Spain have been completely reverted back to the standard LaR focus tree and should progress as it did before. I strongly advise against playing the Republican routes, as they're heavily reliant on the Soviet Union existing in the game.

Anticipated Questions
Q: Why doesn't the AI ever go down Anastasia's path?

A: Many of the mechanics reliant on decisions are not well utilized by the AI. It's basically too dumb to really take advantage of the RPG mechanics. Programming this would be a pain in the ass to do, time-consuming, and the balance would never be where I want it. Additionally, her path has not received the same overhauls to focuses, events, etc. These will be changed as the new countries' focus trees are added. Preventing the AI from going down her path ensures that she cannot automatically annex a player playing as Ukraine, for example.

Q: Why is Wrangel's democratic path the default path?

A: It's one of the more balanced paths, at least in regards to the AI controlling it. Wrangel's paths also replicate the role of the Soviet Union in the vanilla game, i.e. they have their own faction, they don't join the Allies, and they won't interfere until they're attacked by Germany. This should help keep the current balance of vanilla HoI4 intact on historical settings.

v1.5 Anastasia Expansion

Russia
•New infantry models, courtesy of Kaiserreich! (p.s. I hope you like them, it took me 7 hours to extract them and get them to work properly)
•New portrait for Lavr Kornilov.
•Names have been added for all Russian equipment.

-The following changes were made to Anastasia's path:
•New focuses to expand Russia, if Anastasia has high authority, or protect weaker nations, if Anastasia has high liberty. If Anastasia has high intrigue, you can choose which route you'd rather go down.

Tannu Tuva
•Now starts as a non-core state of Russia. Focus effects and descriptions have been changed to reflect this.

Ukraine
•New country leaders and portraits.

Mongolia
•Now has 6 states, instead of only 1.
•Added a couple of civilian and military factories.
-Note: the population spread across the new states is a VERY rough estimate (although the total is still the same as vanilla HoI4). There is no census data available for the time period, so the spread is based off of modern proportions.

Romania
•Fix for focus "Demand Transnistria" so that it targets whoever owns Transnistria, instead of the Soviet Union.

Miscellaneous
•New focus icons, courtesy of Kaiserreich and Alonch!
•Russian translation added, huge thanks to Paul Reinbold!

***Known issue: localisation for some of the in-game modifiers and national focuses are broken. This is a problem with the game version 1.9.0 and I cannot fix it. We will all just have to wait for the next patch, as I've tested it on 1.9.1 and the localisation works fine.***
