[h]So, funny story, all that content added by this mod wasn't unlocking because Starbound is Starbound. This update is a wake-up stab for Starbound to get its act together before I take even more drastic measures.[/h]
• Wire is now craftable at a Metalwork Station, too.
• The lectern is less insanely resistant to pickaxes, drills, bombs, and Matter Manipulators.
• As a result of being stabbed exactly 27 times, Starbound will no longer OUTRIGHT REFUSE FOR NO GOOD REASON to give you the recipes for this mod.

[New Content]
• Added lecterns! Collect codices and books and display them in this handy stand! It keeps its contents when moved to your inventory. (It's a miniature, portable library!)
• Writable Books! Write books, notes, read and edit them on-the-go, or put them on a lectern!
• 8 craftable elevators!

(Lecterns and books can be crafted at a Wooden Crafting Table)


[Crafting]
• Bandages, medkits, and antidotes can be crafted by hand-- the recipe is different than the apothecary's!
• Moved salves to their proper category in the [C] menu
• Bottled water and bottled healing water can now be crafted by hand

[Bug Fixes]
• Poison no longer briefly plays the burning sound effect
• Mysterious Trash Bag and Ashes now have the correct tooltip
• Fireworks are now craftable at iron crafting tables
• Paper Wings can now be crafted at the correct station

[Misc]
• Just like Shattered Alchemy (is this a running gag? I bet the next update is going to include it too.), the 'new character item kit' are delayed until the player completes/skips the intro.
• Added the Survival Guide to the New Character Item Kit!
(Existing characters will automatically receive the Survival Kit)
• Characters affected by certain bugs will receive some goodies

[Brain Extractor]
• Gave the projectiles a bigger hitbox (easier to shoot things now)
• Made its muzzleflash a bit more fancy

[Bug Fixes]
• Because Starbound is stupid, the steel bar recipe wasn't being added by default, unlike 98% of the recipes added. It now unlocks automatically when interacting with a Metalwork Station.
• Because Starbound is stupid, ancient hardcoded stuff was causing crashes with the Brain Extractor. It doesn't do that anymore.

[Changes]
• The Spinning Wheel can now be crafted from a Wooden Crafting Table
• Two outpost quests now give required blueprints. You'll have to abandon the quest from the questlog to restart it and get the blueprint
• Pulse Jump now offers another additional jump, bringing the total bonus jumps to two

[Weapons]
• Reduced the speed of the Brain Extractor's shock


[Procedural Weapons]
[Lightning Coil]
• Speed massively increased
• Knockback removed
• Projectile now 'spreads' a tiny bit if hitting a wall
• Added more projectile variants!

• Added flamethrowers, shotguns, plasma shotguns, and bone shotguns! ;D
• Increased damage of machine pistols and plasma machine pistols
• Added some inaccuracy to all types of pistols
• Avian Blasters now deal consistent, defence-piercing damage

[Bug Fixes]
• Manipulator's Table crafting interface now shows the proper icon

[Changelog]
• Introduced 'changelog' category (changes relating to the changelog's format)
• Split 'weapons' category into 'procedural weapons' (randomly assembled weapons) and 'weapons' (every other weapon)

[Objects]
• Added the Separator's Table for crafting melee weapons!
• The Atomic Furnace now has access to the recipes of its predecessors!
(Atomic Furnace can craft iron and such now)

[Weapons]
• Added Avian Blasters and Guns to the universe!
• Added 60 new craftable racial daggers!
• Slave Sword now has thrusting sounds
• Water Sword now has more bubbly sounds
• Most procedural weapons now have color!

[Armor]

[Food]
• Certain items now rot into rotten versions of themselves
• Red, green, and rotten apples now teach the rotten apple recipe
• Raw flesh lumps now teach the cooked flesh lump recipe
• The tooltip subtitle for edible rotten foods now implies it could be eaten


[Misc]
• COAL GIVES FUEL NOW
• Coal unlocks the gunpowder recipe
• Inspection Mode works more smoothly and has racial descriptions for inspecting empty space.
• 'New Inventory Item' animation replaced
• Fixed some prices and rarities of two repair tools
• Brains have prices and the proper tooltips

[Bug Fixes]
• Fixed the tech station being weird when only one biotech is owned
• Fixed a minor error with muzzle flashes
