Patch 4.0 & The Pentarchy Update
    Patch 4.0
  • Re-enabled "Great Underground City"-wonder district. Requires specific terrain just like the vanilla wonder.
  • Re-enabled "Great Pyramid"-wonder district. Requires character to be lunatic just like the vanilla wonder.
  • Corrected the wrong wonder flag used for library districts (vanilla oversight/bug), it was "gives_artifact_bells", now it has been fixed to the correct "gives_artifact_book" flag.
  • Added an upgrade feature that you can use to upgrade vanilla wonders into a City of Wonders. To use it you must right-click on the capital holding of where the wonder is located at.

The upgrade is instantaneous, and the vanilla wonder in your capital province will be converted into a Wonder District. Any Wonder-Upgrades that you have built in the Wonder before the upgrade will be lost in the conversion process, and must be rebuilt if you want them still.

You can still only have one custom built City of Wonders, so the option won't show up if you already have built one. Also, the wonder you want to upgrade must be in your capital, else the upgrade button is disabled.
The Pentarchy Update
  • Added two game rules - "COW: Pentarchy" and "COW: Semi-Historical COWs". These rules will be DISABLED by default, so you have to manually turn them on if you want to play with the extra COWs.
  • Added Antioch and Jerusalem as optional COWs. COW: Pentarchy rule must be ON.
Antioch and Jerusalem will have a couple of unique wonder districts each, the Third Temple in Jerusalem can only be built after the construction of the vanilla Third Temple decision has been triggered.
  • Added Baghdad and Delhi as optional COWs. COW: Semi-Historical COWs rule must be ON.
Baghdad will have a couple of unique wonder districts like the House of Wisdom. Characters that are lunatics/possessed might also get the ingenious idea to build a certain tower in Baghdad/New Babylon.

Patch 3.0
  • Added the Parthenon of Athens (and the Colossus of Athena), which you currently only can build if you build a City of Wonders in Athens.
  • Added an alternative requirement to the COW: Now you can build a City of Wonders even if your realm size isn’t at 200, as long as you are Emperor-ranked. This was added because of a report that there were issues with the realm size trigger.
  • A few minor miscellaneous tweaks and changes.
Mod Compatibility
  • Added separate versions of COW, which is compatible with HIP SWMH and HIP Vanilla map respectively (Golden4). You can find a separate download for those in the Mod Compatibility section of the Workshop page.

Patch 2.0
  • Removed most of the hidden conditions for constructing a City of Wonders, so that you can see the actual requirements for building the wonder in-game (for all counties in theory).
  • Updated the Great Library wonder-districts to match the new improved bonuses provided in CK2 vanilla (3.3.0)

Patch 1.0
