0.10.3

I had some real urgent issues in the mod to attend to regarding durabillity.

I also spent some extra time to add a new two handed staff type weapon to the Magic Arsenal. This one Steals your opponents health and gives it back to you. The amount of health you get is based off of the damage you deal.

Changes/fixes
  • Fixed some really urgent issues regarding durabillity and using corrupted/pure weapons.

  • Increased all Upgraded Weapons Durabillty to 4000 for +1 and 5000 for +2.

  • Reduced the damage of all 2h spear type weapons.

  • Added a new staff (2h spear type) weapon that can lifesteal, can also be upgraded, check below for more info.

  • Made some corruption gain changes.

  • Improved the Flamberge and it now burns enemies. Also has sfx now.

  • Improved many sfxs and got rid of looping sounds for Upgraded Weapons.

New Weapon!


This update features the new Doom Staff, heavily inspired by the staff used by Thulsa Doom in Conan the Barbarian.
It can steal enemies Lifeforce and give it back to the wielder, sustaining them in battle.

Can be crafted with the Magic Arsenal feat at Level 190.

Stats
Doom Staff:
  • 63 Damage
  • 0% Armor Pen
  • 3000 Durabillity
  • Lifesteal (7% of damage dealt)
Upgraded
God Staff +1:
  • 75 Damage
  • 9% Armor Pen
  • 4000 Durabillity
  • Bonus Stamina Regen (Instrument of the Gods)
  • True Damage Over Time Debuff on Enemies (True Burn)
God Staff +2:
  • 81 Damage
  • 9% Armor Pen
  • 5000 Durabillity
  • Bonus Stamina Regen (Instrument of the Gods)
  • True Damage Over Time Debuff on Enemies (True Burn)
  • Passive Health Regen that works in and out of combat.

0.10.2

So today I have added two new weapons, one of them being upgradeable in the new feats added yesterday. I have also made some changes to the dual wield movesets to make them feel more like ELI and AoC dual wield, being able to combo several spins in a row.

This is probably the last update this week (personal life calls), unless the DevKit decides to break something.

Changes/fixes
  • Added two new weapons to the Master Corruptionist Feat, more info below.

  • Fixed the light source from the upgraded weapons updating at a lower frequency, making it look stale sometimes and giving of a very bad strobing effect. This was unintentional.

  • Reduced some textures from 4k down to 2k to reduce filesize of the mod. Still looks very good.

  • New dual wield weapons are upgradeable.

  • Dual Wield weapons now have additional spin attacks with light combos. Someone has been Hunting for this. Keep in mind you can't spam click anymore since Funcom reworked the combo system, you need to chain the spins by timing the clicks like with other weapons.

  • The Force Abillites for the Sabers now cost less stamina, and doubled the Damage output of Force Lightning.

  • Increased the Corruption Gain Intervals on corrupted weapons, effectively giving you less corruption than before.

  • Increased volume of Upgraded Weapons loop sounds, as it was almost unnoticable.

  • Also removed many unneccessary files in the mod, the mod size is now down to 800mb from 977mb in size. This will improve loading times :)

New Weapons!


This update features two new weapons, the Spider Greatsword and Dual Spider Swords. They can both be unlocked in the Master Corruptionist Feat. But they do not grant you corruption like other corrupted weapons. These weapons adds crippling poison to your enemies. Crippling them and stacks damage, up to 50 Stacks. So if you can keep hitting your target agressively, these weapons are gonna be for you.

Spider Greatsword stats:
  • Damage : 83
  • Armor Penetration : 6.6%
  • Durabillity: 2950

Dual Spider Sword stats:
  • Damage : 68
  • Armor Penetration : 9.6%
  • Durabillity: 2950

Both the weapons apply Crippling Poison!

Upgrade The Dual Wield Spider Swords


Upgrade your sword into Dual Godspider Swords!

+1 Stats:
  • Damage : 80
  • Armor Penetration : 11.6%
  • Durabillity: 3200
  • Buffs/Debuffs : True Damage Burn (Dot that ignores armor), Instrument of the Gods (Grants wielder bonus stamina regen)

+2 Stats
  • Damage : 86
  • Armor Penetration : 11.6%
  • Durabillity: 3400
  • Buffs/Debuffs : True Damage Burn (Dot that ignores armor), Instrument of the Gods (Grants wielder bonus stamina regen), Uninterruptable Heal (Slow Heal over time that does not get canceled by incoming damage).

Next week is here and I got a big drop full of content.

Changes/fixes
  • Added two new feats, more details below.
  • Updated some weapon icons, more in the future.
  • Improved some weapon textures.
  • Updated all feat icons, they now feature borders and are more in line with how vanilla feat icons are featured.
  • Updated feat names.
  • Made some balance changes here and there. Just minor stuff.

I wanted to revamp the look of the feat icons to stay a bit more true to the vanilla game. I hope you guys like these changes. Otherwise please tell me. :)

Upgrade Your Weapons


This update adds two new feats!
  • Upgraded Weapons (Level 260 - Upgraded in the Frost Smithy)
  • Perfected Upgraded Weapons (Level 280 - Upgraded in the Frost Smithy)

Some of the weapons available earlier levels, like the Oathblade are now upgradeable! Upgrading a weapon requires a God Krystallion along with 100 Dragonsteel Bars and the weapon you wish to upgrade. This can be done in the Frost Smithy.

Upgrading a Weapon will increase it's durabillity, damage and applies the Instrument of the Gods buff to the player wielding the weapon, granting them increased stamina regeneration. Hitting an opponent with a Upgraded Weapon will also apply the True Burn debuff to them, burning them over time, dealing damage that ignores armor.

Should you upgrade the already upgraded weapon to a +2 perfectly upgraded weapon, you will gain an additional 6 damage and 300 more durabillity, a passive uninterrupted slow healing over time buff, along with a new type of flame adorning the weapon.

Updated and added effects to the godly weapons, amongst some other things.

Changes/fixes
  • Fixed a weapon not having a texture due to a name change, typical Unreal Editor. lol.
  • Increased Stat Bonuses on all Godly Weapons. From 4+ to 8+ (Ymir is now 6+) and 1+ to 3+ for Crom.
  • Added unique effects to the Godly Weapons. More effects will be added to the other weapons in the future.
  • Added equip sounds to the godly weapons, will remove them if they are too annoying.
  • Fixed some small issues with Corruption gain on Corruptionist Weapons.
  • Improved the debuffs for all the Tempest Weapons.
  • Frostmourne and Rebellion now have Tempest Debuffs. Unique movesets in future.
  • Improved the Wrath of Gods dot to drain more hp. Reduced the effectiveness of the Instrument of the Gods buff.
  • Reworked some buff/debuff icons.
  • Added a Admin Only spawned Mace called King Sundor's Mace (For use as unique reward). It can Curse enemies, crippling them for a short time and then dealing a small amount of true damage after the buff is removed.

Just a small update because some changes were not saved, felt it was important to get this update out of the way. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Changes/fixes
  • Things that did not properly apply in last update should now work fine in this new update.
  • Some visual improvements.
  • Added some combo modifiers to some of the Tempest Weapons.
  • Updated icons of the weapons featuring Star Metal.
  • Updated some descriptions.
  • Fixed some items not working as intended.
  • Reduced the Corruption gain on spells and the Corrupted Weapons.

0.9.14

Some quality of life improvements. Next update will be next week, will maybe contain a few bows and admin spawned weapons for the server owners to make use of (unique rewards for players etc...). For the next update I will look at trying to remove many bloat files as well to reduce the filesize of the mod.

  • Increased the amount of blood required to craft Corrupted Wood.
  • You now require 150 blood to craft spellbooks.
  • Increased the amount of corrupted wood needed to craft Corruptionist weapons slightly.
  • Increased the amount of corrupted wood needed to craft Purified Wood to 12 from 10.
  • Some weapons require Star metal to be crafted now.
  • Remade the Gungnir into a Spear.
  • Increased the requirements for Dragonsteel Bars very slightly.
  • Reworked the moveset for Unsuspicious Staff.
  • Added some keys into the mod for admins to make use of.
  • Reduced the damage of the Training Lightsaber Damage to 1 (like other Blunted Weapons), so Admins with 600 Strength don't have any issue.
  • Fixed some recipes sharing names.

I am taking these hours trying to fix and improve whatever I can, I introduced a lot of new Elements with the new weapons and it can be quite hard to make it perfect. But I am dedicated to try and fix the issue and deliver the most solid experience I can with these new weapons.


Fixes/improvements
  • Fixed/improved more visuals and sounds.
  • Reduced the damage of the God Weapons very slightly (4 dmg).
  • Fixed an issue with more particles cause framerate issue. Everything should now be quite optimized.
  • Extended the range of the offhand attack for the staff.

  • Reduced the damage of the Wrath of God DOT, it was supposed to be .5% hp per tick, not 5% hehe
  • Touched up some animation
  • Added the correct (new) icon for the Rusted Khopesh in the Recipes.

0.9.11

Again had to fix some things that came in the recent update. I am really sorry about the inconvenience.


Fixes
  • Fixed issues that caused severe fps drops when using one of the new weapons.
  • Fixed certain visual bugs that caused incorrect colors to show on combat trails.
  • Made small improvements and fixes here and there.

The rest from the list is the previous update (0.9.9)

Additions/changes
  • Changed the earlier Feat levels, so that there is 15 Levels between each. This means you will be playing with weapons for longer.

  • Added three new debuff types. Tempest Frost (deals damage over time and decreases temperature) and Tempest Magic (deals damage over time for a short time, then deals a burst of damage upon expiring) and Wrath of the Gods, which is the new debuff type for all god weapons (deals %hp damage over time, very potent and good vs high hp enemies). The Divine Katana still has the Locust Poison because it is not an instrument of the gods.

  • Added new buff, Instrument of the Gods, it increases your stamina regen for the time you have a god weapon equipped. When equipping the weapon however, you will be slowed. This might change to another debuff in the future and is currently placeholder.

  • Refined some of my custom movesets and added more sounds.
  • More minor improvements here and there.

Keep in mind that all these changes are being looked at and will be adjusted if I feel I went too much in one direction or the other.

New feat!


Now the Tempest Feat has all the base weapons and I will probably be releasing updates at less frequent intervals, I will try to do them weekly unless there is something urgent I need to attend to.

I think that is it for this update. If I forgot something in the notes I will probably be adding it in afterwards.
