  • Changed the Dragonbone Hasta so that it can be repaired with the same repair kits as any other Dragonbone weapon

  • Various balance changes.

    This update was worked on in tandem with people in the PvP community. I'm entirely PvE focused, so it was good to have players with a PvP perspective chime in. We nerfed some things, buffed other things, but all in all there wasn't any earth shattering changes. Just mostly wanted to find a balance and we think we achieved that with this update. Most likely, as I've been saying since the very first version of this mod, this won't be the final balance pass I do. I'll continue to revisit it every so often as necessary.

  • Adjusted every animation to show the proper particle trails to reflect what type of attack is being used.

    Meaning things like, red ink for bleed, or yellow trails for cripple, and etc. It's a very minor feature, but this is how all the other weapon types in the game are set up too.

  • Mod compatibility update.

    There is an enum that this mod must edit in order for the Hasta's to exist. This Enum isn't mod compliant and is a direct edit of a Funcom asset. The modding community works together to ensure that all of the major mods that also edit this enum are compatible with each other. That's what this update is for.

Additions
  • Added a new Legendary Hasta. The Enhanced Warhasta of the Black Circle.

    This is a retexture of the original Warspear, that also glows like many other legendary weapons. It also does slightly more damage then the normal Warhasta.

  • Added three mid-range weapons, the Glowing Abysmal set. This includes a Javelin, Offhand Javelin, and Hasta.

    Unlockable at level 30 with the proper pre-reqs completed, these weapons do Steel Damage equivalant. In addition, they also glow with an attached glowing goo at the end of the weapon (does not expire).

    These weapons aren't entirely cheap though, as they will require an Abysmal Eye to complete.

Bug Fixes and Changes
  • Fixed a bug with the Flawless Hardened Steel Offhand Javelin

  • Changed the position of where the character holds the Hasta, making the Hasta attacks have slightly less reach range.

    This is a small nerf to the Hasta. This change was done for two reasons. The first, realism. It has always bothered me where the Hasta is being held, as I felt it was too far back from the start. It was only recently I discovered how I could place it in a position that I originally envisioned. The second, is balanace. Yes, the word I hate the most. The Hasta, for a one handed spear, just had a little too much reach for my liking. This puts it at a range that's more to my liking.

  • Changed the Blunted Hasta weight to be more in line with other Hasta's

  • Changed Riptide into an Item Tier 5 from an Item Tier 4

  • Increased the stack size of the Venom-Infused Javelin to 10

Additions
  • Added Javelin attacks while on Horseback. It uses the Axe moveset, which causes bleed on the opponent (the Hasta uses the long sword, which does cripple).

    No, you cannot throw the Javelin. Funcom themselves may or may not add this in themselves in the future. If they do, I will change the Javelin to being Throwable instead.

  • Added a sound effect to the Riptide on impact when thrown.

  • Refreshed the recipes on the Javelin Improved Blacksmiths to have the latest vanilla recipes

  • Added all the exceptional and flawless recipes to the Javelin Improved Blacksmiths for Hasta's and Off-Hand Javelins

    I may or may not have forgotten to do that......

  • Added a new Ymir Icicle Javelin.

    Recipe has a rare chance to drop from any Frost Giant and requires a Tier 3 Ymir Alter in order to craft. Ymir Icicle Javelin is expensive to craft, brittle, and can cause self harm if thrown at close range. But it provides a survability bonues, and a AOE dot whenthrown that also cripples the opponent in it's radius.

Bug Fixes and Changes
  • Lowered the weapon damage of the Serpent-man Javelin to be aligned with vanilla (which were lowered in the mounts update)

  • Lowered the weapon damage of the Serpent-man Hasta to be aligned with vanilla (which were lowered in the mounts update)

  • Lowered the weight of the Black Ice Hasta

  • Changed the Lemurian Hasta recipe to use a Long Handle like all the other Hasta's I've set up

  • Changed the Hasta from the default Spear combo on a mount to a slashing one.

    I wanted to use the 2 handed Spear, but the character holds the much shorter Hasta weird when doing so. I can't fix that without making a new Enum, which isn't a good idea to do anymore.

  • Fixed mounted combat with arrows, and probably other compatibility bugs from the latest patch.

  • Optimized a few modded Hasta's/Javelin's by lowering their texture quality from 4K textures to 2K textures.

    While these textures are modified vanilla textures that can be seen on their vaniller counterparts at 4K, having 4K textures increases the file size a lot. Visually, there isn't much difference of a 2K weapon and a 4K weapon when the model is so small. With modded servers having a max capacity for how much storage of mods they can support, having these optimized help modded servers that host a lot of mods.

    This results in a mod that is nearly 100mb's smaller (you read that right).

Additions
  • Added a Hasta and Javelin Khari Weapon Recipe to the WIne Cellear Skeleton bosses

    I didn't want to add the Weapon Recipe to the End-Boss since it would throw off the main saught after recipes and screw up the farming of those. Instead, I gave it a 20% chance to spawn on the various Skeleton bosses.

  • Added a Bloodstone Javlein and Bloodstone Hasta to the loot tables of the Emissary of Tsathoggua

    This was left over from something else that I ended up changing my mind on. "Venom-Infused Offhand Javelin's" are found with the same recipe in which you learn the "Venom-Infused Javelin. " Which can be found via random generation at the Dark Library.

Bug Fixes and Changes
  • Made a description correction to the Ancient Lemurian Javelin. I listed it as Cooling, when the proper term for it should have been Heat Insulated (like all the other similar weapons and armor and in the game).

  • Fixed the Spectral Javelin in-game material.

    Multi forgets that the dev kit doesn't render texture material the same as it does in-game and didn't look very closely in-game. Now it should look more like it was intended to look like.

  • Fixed my own oversight that lead you to be able to do more damage on certain attacks when blocked then when not blocked

  • Changed the Venom Javelin to be thrown. Originally I made it so you can't throw it because I couldn't get the throw mechanic to work with the poison. Second attempt I got it to work right. Since I'm adding the Hasta animations, there isn't any need for a special combat chain for the Venom Javelin. It's fun, but there are only so many slots available for unique animations and to ensure mod compatibility, every available slot is needed.

  • Slight balance damage adjustment for Javelin combo with shields

  • Decreased the the recovery time slightly of the Javelin final hit with the heavy attack, when using a shield, so that a new chain can begin sooner.

  • Slight balance stamina adjustment for Javeling combo with throwing axes on light attacks.

  • Changed the drop for the Lemurian Ancient Javelin Recipe to different bosses. Same dungeon.

    Previous loot table I merged with I didn't realize also was shared by multiple bosses. I changed the loot table so that it's only shared by two instead.

  • Buffed the Venom-Infused Javelin slightly.

  • Various minor text fixes or changes throughout the various data tables.

  • Updated all Javelin Improved Blacksmiths and the recipes.

    This was a major oversight that I completely forgot about. They should now have all the various recipes from the last few DLC's and such.

What's New
  • New: Long Fang of the Red Mother - Legendary Javelin

  • New: Hasta's

    These 1 handed spears are slightly longer then Javelins, but not as long as 2 handed spears. They can be equipped in the main hand, but cannot be thrown. Hasta's can be modded though. Of course, they come with their own set of combo's for all the various attacks (by itself, with a shield, and with an off hand throwing axe). I tried very hard to balance the Hasta, changing their final stats dozens (and dozens) of times. It probably won't be my last attempt at doing so. Feedback will be very important for that.

    There are 29 Hasta's in total. Most of them are just slightly larger (or smaller) versions of the vanilla Javelin's and Spears already in the game. I did make some unique things, or at least, gave some legendary's my own small touch to them. A lot of the Legendary's are made via the feat, Hasta - Legendary's. You'll see their requirement, but once you meet the feat requirement you will see that I put the vanilla version of their 2 handed spear as a recipe requirement. This will make it so it doesn't oversaturate the legendary drop pools too much, letting players instead just hunt down their vanilla 2 handed spear equivalent and convert it into a Hasta. I may revisit that decision based on feedback.

  • New - Off Hand Javelin

    Can only stack to 5 (subject to change based on feedback, could go lower or higher). Exact same stats as existing Javelin's now. Act as a throwing axe, though I did change up the throwing action as you see it flying through the air. It's combo chain is the same as any other throwing axe. Obviously, it looks best (immersion wise) with a Javelin or a Hasta as it's main weapon when using the Offhand Javelin.
