13/06/2013 - v1.1.0 -

  • Merged Scopes Hattori Aesthetic upgrade into mod. The Aesthetic Upgrade is a subtle, *purely visual modification * giving Hattori units a more individual look by changing the unit leaders of all Hattori Ashigaru / Samurai to ninja models of varying rank, acting as scouts who direct thier ability to use stealth deployment. This was inspired by Ikko-Ikki units having random monk models in their Ashigaru reflecting thier religious nature. (note: model changes do not alter abilities / stats of the unit modified and is purely visual).

  • All Hattori Ashigaru units and Hattori Bandits are now led by lower rank "Monomi" Ninja scout models (with 3 different possible shades for variance reasons).

  • All Hattori Samurai are now led by a higher rank "Jonin" model. Similar to the armoured Kisho Ninja Model, with more parts and possibility of being equipped with Red Ninja Menpo mask.

12/06/2013 - v1.01 (hotfix)

  • Addressed Issue with ammunition of Hattori and Tokugawa Kisho Ninja units being set at 3. Increased to 11 to bring in line with other Kisho Ninja.

--- Version 1 - 12/06/2013 ----

  • Addition of "Monomi Ninja" unit. With full custom skin support.

  • Unit is an initiate-ninja unit, with Ashigaru level stats similar to those of a loan-sword ashigaru.

  • Unit can hide in battle and use active hiding, but lacks the more impressive tools at Kisho Ninja's Disposal

  • Units passive abilities include - Campaign Map Stealth, Immunity to Attrition on Campaign map, and increased hiding ability on battle-maps.

  • Introduced custom skins to Hattori and Tokugawa Kisho Ninja based on FOTS model, added unit randomisation to soldier models within unit. Skins created from existing assets in data.pack, and partially from scratch.

  • Rebalancing of Hattori and Tokugawa Kisho Ninja, with increased Melee attack, Armor, Reload Skill, Accuracy and Ammunition. Also added passive abilities -


  • Hattori and Tokugawa Specific Kisho Ninja now have the following passive abilities -

  • Better hiding ability - The unit can now hide in Scrub, Long Grass and Forestry more effectively than *ANY* other unit - this means that the enemy will have to get much closer before spotting the unit.

  • Campaign Map Stealth - Units with this ability can hide on the campaign map without the aid of forests! This will make for some interesting stratagems, as an army comprising only of Hatt/Toku Kisho Ninja, Monomi Ninja, and Hattori/Tokugawa Ninja Hero (from mod), and any other units with camp. map stealth will be able to easilly ambush enemy armies allowing for 360 degree deployment around a surprised enemy!

  • Wilderness Survival - it is widely known that Ninjutsu taught wilderness survival skills so that a ninja could avoid capture but to the elements of the wild for as long as needed. Hatt/Toku Kisho Ninja are immune to attrition when in Enemy Territory during winter months.

  • Replaced Unit leader models of Default Kisho Ninjas and Hanzo's Shadows with superior Default skinned FOTS model - this is a purely aesthetic change and does not meddle with any unit stats.
