Update: Sep 6, 2022 @ 2:09pm

Version is 5.7.6

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Added all the new spawns since the last time the mod was updated.

  • Added all the custom spawns from Emberlight

  • Added all the custom spawns from Savage Wilds

Note: Emberlight and Savage Wilds are currently the only mods I plan on supporting. I will likely not consider any other mods unless it was commissioned to do so. Further, I don't plan on updating the mods to match with any Emberlight or Savage Wild updates. Probably only once a year will I go in and make any necessary adjustments or additions.

The mod is however future proofed and won't conflict with Savage Wilds or Emberlight in any way. They will not interfere with vanilla spawns either.

Version is 5.7.5

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Compatibility update for the most recent Funcom official update.

  • Rebranded the mod to "Tier 4 Followers" to match the way Funcom labels them.

  • Disconnected an old SpawnDataTable from when I attempted to create new Followers 2 years ago.

In the past, this would have caused disconnected Followers to turn White and not be able to be removed. However in testing, it appears they simply vanish (if its a map placed Follower), or remain accessible if its a crafter Follower. To help clean up the admin spawn list since they have long not been able to spawn as part of the weighted system, I'm disconnecting the table so they can't be accessible via admin spawn anymore.

  • Future proofed the mod so it doesn't keep breaking on every single update anymore.

Without going into a large amount of details, I am basically adding extra entries instead of overriding the entries. This means for the Medium and Mild verisons of this mod that it won't be EXACTLY 10,20,30, or 40% as it was in the past. It's close, but not "exact." Basically, to summarize, I'm setting up the new entries so that they are weighted in a way that makes the vanilla weights irrelevant with only a very small chance the spawn roll lands on them.

By doing it via addition instead of override, this essentially makes the mod future proof. I'll still need to update it to include new spawns to the weight adjustments, but official patches should no longer conflict with the mod in terms of broken spawns.

Due to the significant changes, I anticipate some bugs. If you feel something is off with any of the spawns, please let me know so I can double check how I have those particular spawns set. Most likely it's just RNG, but doesn't hurt to take a quick look.

Version is 5.7.4

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Compatibility update for the most recent Funcom official update.

  • Added unused (not yet implemented?) Exile Zath Priests into the Exile Priest rotations.

There are several Exile Zath Priests set up in the SpawnDataTable, but are otherwise not part of the actual map spawns. Until Funcom adds these Priests to their own spawn set ups, I figured the Exile Priest rotation would be the most appropriate place for them.
