Update: Sep 7, 2023 @ 1:35pm

- If you use the config setting or the hotkey that automatically gives routing units to the AI when they rally, AI General will now also automatically take over units that recover from rampaging.

Update: Jul 14, 2021 @ 10:54am

- Updated for the Silence & Fury dlc.

Update: Feb 21, 2021 @ 1:20pm

- If at the start of the battle, you select all of your units (using Ctrl+A, perhaps), and then use Shift+F10, AI General should control none of your current units, but all your reinforcements for that battle should be given to the AI (provided you use don't use any configuration or that you have the configuration option extend_control_if_reverse_selected = true). In the past, this didn't work consistently (it only worked if you had already turned AI General on in some other way). This should work as expected now.

Update: Dec 14, 2020 @ 12:25pm

- Changed the default for the extend_control_if_reverse_selected configuration to be true, since most users will want this option turned on. (If you were using a configuration file or MCT before, the value you already had will remain)
- Updated so that the default configuration file will write correctly for new users again (the new dlc changed it a bit).

Update: Dec 3, 2020 @ 9:59am

- Updated for the Twisted & Twilight dlc.

Update: Aug 7, 2020 @ 9:27am

- Adds compatibility for paperpancake's upcoming mod Attack Move and Counter Charge. That new function (modder_API_release_uc_for_ids) can also be incorporated into any other scripting mod that needs access to UnitControllers in a way that would normally make it incompatible with AI General II.
- (optional) Now compatible with Vandy's new version of the Mod Configuration Tool! You can keep using this mod on its own and configure it using the same text file as before, if you prefer, or use the default settings. Alternatively, if you get the new MCT, you can use it to override this mod's text-file options and set your options from within in the game. Options can't be altered when you are in a battle, but they can be changed between battles.
- Added options for changing the hotkeys this mod piggybacks on, or you can get rid of the piggybacking altogether if you need some of your Save Camera Bookmark hotkeys for actual camera bookmarks.
- Fixed a bug that prevented changing hotkey configurations to some settings, including "script_F2"

Update: Jul 19, 2020 @ 4:06pm

- Added four new configuration options. You can now add buttons or keyboard shortcuts for giving units to or taking units away from the AI without having to reassign all the units all over again. You can also specify if you don't want to give spellcasters to the AI automatically (or ever).
- New config options that you don't already have in your config file will be added to the bottom of your config file the next time that you go to the game's main menu with this mod enabled. If you don't already know about the config file for this mod, you can find a discussion explaining it here: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1165729756/3440124725205994639/
