Mechanics

General Class Item Drop Rates increased.
Class Item Hunting Drop Rates increased further.
Trictus no longer drops Spiral Energy.

Resetting Class with Reset Scroll removes techs.
Resetting a Class with the Reset Button at Level 50 does not remove techs.
Resetting a Class below Level 50 with or without a Class Reset Scroll only removes techs from that Class specifically.

All Unique Weapons scale with Stats now.

Experience drops from Harvesting.

Reset Scrolls

Class Reset Scroll no longer removes Affinity given stats.
Affinity Reset Scroll no longer keeps previous Affinity given stats.

Techs

Vanish Sphere base Energy Cost is now 25. While transformed, Energy Cost Per Second is now 50. Invulnerability runs out when Energy depletes.

MRE Cooldown now slows you down, but provides slight Health Regen (for players in Casual Mode, though it applies in every mode).

Quests

All quests now give a better description of where each item drops.
Existing quests will not retroactively change their text.

Patch 1.11 is out!

Mechanics:
  • Critters and Farm Animals removed from Monster Scripts.
  • Players should no longer jump to Level 50 or negative numbers upon opening the interface.
  • Stats and abilities raise stats using ‘baseMultiplier’ instead of ‘effectiveMultiplier’ to prevent Armor from making characters too strong later game. Shield Health still relies on 'effectiveMultiplier'.
  • Level 50 now gives 4 stat points to spend instead of 3.

Tech Balance:

Explorer’s Techs:
  • Enhanced Movement:
    • Removed bug that allowed players to double jump while sprinting.

Effect Balance:

Wizard’s Arcaneness:
  • Electrified Status Proc no longer damages the player.

Knight:
  • Knight’s Weapon Bonus:
    • Shortsword and Shield damage increased based on Strength.

Soldier:
  • Soldier’s Stun:
    • Soldier’s Stun Length is no longer 100x longer. Mistaken value has been changed to 5x instead.

Explorer:
  • Explorer’s Weapon Bonus:
    • +5% Resistance changed to +10% Resistance.

UI

Soldier Class Tab:
  • Text no longer overlaps.

Weapon Balance
  • Changed Throwing Star recipe to be 5 Iron Bars for 25.
  • Changed Durasteel Shuriken recipe to be 2 Durasteel Bars for 25.
  • Changed Elemental Shurikens recipe to be 5 Titanium Bars and:
    • Arc - 2 Static Cells.
    • Infernal - 2 Scorched Cores.
    • Toxic - 2 Venom Samples.
    • Cryo - 2 Cryonic Extract
    • All give 50 respective shurikens.

Compatibility
  • FU Bees no longer affected by status procs nor require damage to capture.

1.1 Patch is out:

Overhauled the XP system.
  • Monsters will always drop XP, and XP will not replace other drops.
  • Boss Monsters will drop slightly more XP.
  • Vault Monsters will drop XP.
  • Monster XP will drop through Treasure Pools instead of Lua.
  • More stat points are awarded at higher levels:
    • Level 1 gives 1 point in each stat.
    • Levels 2-19 give 1 stat point to spend.
    • Levels 20-39 give 2 stat points to spend.
    • Levels 40-50 give 3 stat points to spend.

All Techs:
    Cooldowns for the following techs shown at top left:
  • Wizard Magic Shield
  • Ninja Assassinate
  • Rogue Toxic Aura
  • Rogue Toxic Capsule
  • Rogue Cloud Jump
  • Soldier MRE
  • Soldier Missile Strike
  • Soldier Energy Pack
  • Soldier Marksman

Ninja’s Tech’s:
  • Flash Jump and Wall Cling invulnerability only lasts for the initial boost rather than the whole fall. However, Fall Damage is still negated.
  • Vanish Sphere prevents Energy Regen while staying still and keeps Energy Reduction while moving. Because of this, the Energy Cost has been reduced. Vanish Sphere sticks to wals much better.
  • Assassinate now costs 20 Health instead of 50 Energy. You cannot use this ability with only 20 or less health remaining.
Soldier’s Techs:
  • Missile Strike travels straight down instead of at an angle to make aiming to the left easier. Damage decreased as compensation.


Stat Balance:

Dexterity
  • Provides slightly lower amounts of Fall Damage Reduction (.5%).
  • Provides slightly lower amounts of one handed weapon damage, but applies weapon damage twice when dual wielding (.75%).
  • Provides no weapon damage for wands.

Vitality
  • Health increased by 5% instead of 4 HP.
  • Provides slightly less Hunger Deduction (1%)

Vigor
  • Energy increased by 5% instead of 4 HP.

Endurance
  • Provides slightly more Physical Resistance (.75%).

Intelligence
  • Provides damage while holding wands, and applies weapon damage twice when dual wielding (.75%).

Agility
  • Provides slightly better Fall Damage Reduction (1%).

Effect Balance:

Stun overhauled, as listed below.
  • Lower Chance to proc (10%)
  • Less Time Stunned Overall
  • Stunned! Text now appears.

Bleeding Status Nerfed
  • -20% Physical Resistance
  • -30% Bleed Poison Resistance
  • -10% Cold Resistance
  • (FU) -20% Radiation Resistance
  • (FU) -10% Cosmic and Shadow Resistance
  • Bleeding! Text changed to Red

Class Balance:

Knight:
  • Knight’s Shield effect no longer procs when a shield is lowered and raised quickly after being hit.

Wizard:
  • Wizard no longer specifically receives an Intelligence scaled bonus with wands (Intelligence now scales with wand damage regardless).
  • Wand Damage Bonus set to a base +10%.

Ninja:
  • Ninja no longer receives Bonus Damage with bows to make way for the Dual-Class Overhaul (Ranger).
  • Bleed Chance changed to +10% and Bleed Length changed to +.4s.
  • Speed and Jump decreased to +10%. Fall Damage Resistance reduced to +20% from +30%.

Soldier:
  • Soldier no longer receives Bonus Damage with Rocket Launchers to make way for the Dual-Class Overhaul (Mechanist).
  • Soldier Stun now lasts for a shorter duration, and will depend on damage percentage. Effectively, higher damage shots make stun last longer.
  • Soldier Stun has a 10% chance to proc instead of a 20% chance.
  • Stun border color not as egregious (1 pixel instead of 2)
  • Soldier's Discipline now only works while at Full Energy.

Explorer:
  • Lowered Brightness of Explorer’s Discovery.
  • Explorer’s Discovery is now based off of health.

All:
  • Remove colored glow, at behest of users. :(

New Weapons

Shurikens
  • Five new Shurikens created for use with Ninja: Durasteel, Arc, Infernal, Cryo and Toxic Shurikens.
  • Regular Throwing Stars were given a recipe.
  • Craft Shurikens in the throwables section of the Anvil. Some Shurikens are locked behind high tiered anvils.

UI

Switched the UI to be persistent using Quickbar Mini, rather than requiring a book to save inventory space and remove hassle. The book can still be used, but using Quickbar Mini makes things easier :)
