Helms Deep (4v4)

Hi, a very cool map.

I like it’s atmosphere, simple scheme & keep detail… and movie scenes in the back of the head :)

Infantry from the keep all the time is flanking, rocks in the open adds diversity & works great with zoom-out mod (no mist).

There is one thingy imo – breach is too small and ai gets stuck very soon. Could you consider making it wider, just for the sake of gameplay, please.

Great job, thank you... it’s fun even now with ai stacking.

PS Could you add Aragorn unit, let’s say some boosted Tiger Ace…

This map had some good potential but the pinch in the wall made tanks block up bad and since there's no VP the keep gets pretty much ignored most of the game which sucks. Manning the wall doesn't give any cover bonus. Please VP.

I think you need to add victory points or something. Or some kind of time limit. Unless I missed something, defending team just defends indefinitely unless they are overrun which could be forever.

hello, so it says that I'm subscribed. how would I go about playing this. I tried to join a game but apparently this wasnt downloaded. please bear with me I'm new to pc gaming online

And of course I respond three months later lol. Anyways, one consideration would be to change the spawnpoints inside the castle. Like put them on the mountain above the castle and create paths that lead to the inside of the castle and to the deeping wall area. I would also consider doing 5vs3. 3 defending the castle and 5 sieging the castle. This map is super fun though, and it's even better when you play an infantry only mod.

Well if you say so, I actually have some ideas I could throw out there. Of course, you are the author and you have the most say in what you want to do. If you're willing to hear me out, I'd be glad to give you some ideas.

Nice! Super excited to try this out, man. It looks perfect. I made a really (I mean really) shitty version of helm's deep a couple years ago, and this is the ideal version I would want. Thanks for putting the time into creating this.
