Here you can find Steampunk for DST :)

It is recommended to use this mod with Steam Biome mod! Both SteamPunk Mod and SteamBiome mod are made in similar concept and some parts of this mod work different when you have SteamBiome mod enabled such us: Item recipes, gear availability.

DESCRIPTION

I made this mod as a tribute to the steampunk style. I love this style and also, in my opinion it fits really good into Don't Starve world, so why not ?

At that moment, mod adds 8 new craftable items, 2 gear pet's, 1 creature and loot! All of the items needs gears, so you should start hunting those nasty clockworks or explore the ruins!

You can find them (new items and pets of course) in the Custom "Gears" tab. All this items have funny spark animation while equippingand more. All items have custom strings for each character in standard game and dlc. Also all off them have their own map icons as well as gears, so you can't lose them! .. i hope so..

Gear Axe

- Works as an axe
- 35 dmg and 300 uses
- Loses durability 30% slower while chopping
- Needs Science machine.

Gear Mace

-Works as an hammer
- 40 dmg and 130 uses
- Needs Alchemy engine.

Gear Stove

- Gives light depending on fuel level
- Gives warm when fueled. Can be fueled with burnable objects.
- Lowers speed by 20%
- Needs Alchemy engine.

Gear Mask

- Gives medium health regeneration
- Causes a gradual loss of sanity
- Needs Alchemy engine.

Gear Hat

- Gives large sanity regeneration
- Durability is 30% better than in tophat
- Needs Alchemy engine.

Gear Helmet

- Gives 80% protection to fire
- Lowers speed by 10%
- 70% dmg absorbtion and durability of armor wood
- Needs Alchemy engine.

Gear Wings

- They increase speed by 15%
- 12 days durability
- Needs Alchemy engine

Gear Torch

- Gives light when equiped, and on the ground
- Can be turned on or off, but can't be fueled
- Has 3 days durability
- Drops 2 twigs when durability drops to 0%

WS-01

- 150hp, 40dmg, has special health meter
- He fights for you
- No need for sleep or eat
- Can be healed only with gears
- Needs Alchemy engine
- Friend of Webber's spiders

WS-03

- 500hp, 120dmg, has special health meter
- He fights for you
- Can chop trees with you!
- No need for sleep or eat
- Can spawn 1 gear per 1,5 day!
- Can be healed only with gears
- After death, drops 3-4 gears, and spawn 3 WS-01!
- Needs Alchemy engine
- Friend of Webber's spiders

BUGS?

Did you encountered a bug, crash or glitch? If you want to make sure that I can fix it, please report it in comments with your log file (C:/users/documents/Klei/DoNotStarve/log) attached (pastebin for example).

Known Bugs

This mod works bad if you are using StatusPlus. I suggest using Always On Status with this mod.

If you're getting a crash when placing your science machine, get KreygasmTR's fixed version here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2396967693
(this might apply only to saves with hamlet compatibility)

I can't make metal plates either, makes the game unplayable as you can't craft alchemy

Hello There. I updated this so there are no conflicting tabs ( there might be I would like to specify in description ) and added little tiny bit of Hamlet Compability for strings. I would like to have your consent before mod goes public. Also mod is not yet published yet.
