But I saw that especially at Lv83 and 92 the number of exp is increased to 4.3 million and the exp is reduced by almost 80% by crafting the highest items.
an example:
The item gave 100 exp before 83/92
From 83/92 onwards only 2-9exp depending on the server settings.
Maybe that's a good approach.
But it's not that wild so far, I'll continue to work with the mod once the problems are fixed, I've made Elder Items and others myself, but the rate of exp is so low that it's not worth the effort at all. So wait until a better update
see my reply #1 to bacon, there are items you can spawn currently to give yourself levels if its really stuck, however i seem to remember that crafting items with higher requirements are supposed to give better XP. (so like the vam tools for example) the entire system is being fully stripped out, re-made from scratch, and retooled, plus the new update changed and removed so many perimeters that, even if they wanted to, the old system was dead in the water and did not work.
1. the professions are being overhauled right now, and the progression is a known issue, sadly there is not much that can be done until the entire system is fully rewritten as the original mod maker left, and the people taking over only have some files, no notes, and no help on deciphering the code.
2. you can access it via the mining town or the gates that warp you there, there are announcements about it, but on the discord, which anyone running the mod for a server should be on, and eventually both places are going to be fully re-worked anyway. its going to be a 100% rebuilt mod, almost certainly even split between several mods due to limitations that are currently being faced
yes, its a GREAT mod for singleplayer
I have all craft skills at 92 and after over a million items I haven't made two levels yet >.>.
At least for me that's a reason not to pursue it any further, I want to enjoy the mod and not spend my time crafting millions of items.
I found the old system very good and had a perfect balance.
That's something you might want to make a big announcement about.
