mod dont work anymore?
i did zpm in portals and named both portals, but it dont open the portal

If anyone is wondering this mod still works great! It is basic and simple.

To make a stargate or rings you craft them in the Anicent looking bench in the third picture. It does require power. (AB Batteries work too)
The stargate and the DHD do not need any power.
The stargate has its own power and it auto-regenerates.
The stargate has an inventory where you can place the optional ZPM and or Iris.
The DHD has an inventory but nothing can or needs to go into it.
Power is drawn and generated from the stargate.
The DHD controls the stargate, names the stargate and allows you to dial the gate.
The DHD must be placed close to the stargate so it can detect it and take control of that stargate.

It is a stackable mod (It can be the last mod on your list for example).

I love this simple mod and hope this helps anyone that is still using this or considering to.

@Shrike i know about the newer version as i write in my message it is a very good mod but it is too big (700mb+ and we want to reduce as much as possible or total mod size to reduce load time which already are important) for what i am interested in the mod (just the gate and not all the various decoration we do not use) . I just want gates i can hide in the wild with people having to discover then and note down their addess to use them for a no flyer server. Stargate is the only mod i know which offer this nice feature to give exploring more meaning :)

@Vlkolak26 what do you mean? I have no control on the format of the adress those are generated automatically. I tried moving them a bit to reset the adress but still the 8 adress issue.

Will probably end by removing some other mod to make room for the full mod (byebye ckf we will only use sf one i think since ckf is around same size than the full stargate mod)

each gate you make make sure each is setup with numbers values based on location on the map etc xyz values

Does this mod still work for someone?

I want to reduce my mod size and stargate evolution is far too big for me (700+mb) when i am only interested by the gate and ring so wanted to go back to use this light mod (less than 100mb).

However, now i have an issue and cannot connect to the gate since the address size is 8 instead of 7.

I know this mod will not be updated but maybe some user have a solution, like maybe replacing several time the gate until a proper adress is generated?

Can I change the Gate Adresse?
I cant open the gate because the Gate adresse is to long.
