U.S.F. Acheron (Saturn X Class Escort)

The U.S.F. Acheron, is a Saturn Class Escort, based around the Mark X variant. Due to the improvements in design, and changes to the hull configuration, the ship manage to pack a little more in frontal fire power than its previous variants.

Outfitted with six dual heavy cannons, and a wide array of defence turrets, along with Anti-Fighter turrets. Making it hard to get close, and harder to get away. Also outfitted with a cloaking device, to allow the ship to sneak up on its prey, and is the first of the Saturn ships to be equiped with one, thanks to new tech provided by ALTechCo.

This ship was designed, and put into service after the Ancient wars, but never seen combat.
