With the invention of pockets comes the idea of bringing EVEN MORE WEAPONS. Because your snipers are getting really tired of getting shanked.

They do seem to have sidearms in their inventory. So do refugees, combat helpers added by quests, ect. I can't say I have seen them use them though.

Hi, Im not sure if that has been posted yet but do enemy pawns/raiders also carry sidearms as well?

I am having an issue with colonists not retrieving their sidearms, even though I have the option enabled. When a pawn gets downed and drops their main, it goes dark grey which I think means the weapon is not available. When I land in my colony with the SRTS and everything gets dropped, the colonists used to quickly grab their sidearms off the ground, but now they ignore them and it is dark grey.

is there a way to add an "equip exact sidearm"? I use the infusion mod and my colonists keep equipping different weapons than the one with the good infusions I made for him

Or, maybe it is a problem with "Preserve sidearms through caravans option". Which works when caravan pawns enter the map event, but does not activate itself when caravan pawns split event. Can you check it, please?

Works well without problems for me.
But there is huge inconvenience when splitting caravan. Your should remeber and manually pick every single sidearm for every pawn.

Yes, I have activated settings options "preserve/hide sidearms in/through caravans dialogs".
But they do not work for me, maybe because I use "TradeHelper"

Instead of hiding sidearms I propose to mark them as siderams in a caravan dialog's list of items in trade or splitting caravan. A small right arrow to under weapon icon for leaving group. And a left arrow under weapon icon for initial group.

To everyone a few pages back saying that they can't interact with weapons with this mod installed -- this is INCORRECT. That is not this mod causing that issue. I thought this mod would be the most likely cause of that bug, but after removing Simple Sidearms, restarting, and testing a new colony, I still have that issue. I just wanted to let the mod author know that this is not anything to do with Simple Sidearms.

Always says Combat extended is loaded, even though it isn't. That way the Inventory of a pawn isn't awaylable
