Death Star [Working/Vanilla] FINAL

Description
I proudly present you this Geonosian masterpiece, with Galen Erso's Superlaser, shortly: The Death Star

It has a fully operational Superlaser, that can destroy whole fleets in minutes, and if fired perfectly, can delete a planetary base from the map in one, powerful shot.

It is now capable of jumping to hyperspace and travel a distance of ~3500 kms

It has a fully decorated interior:
-Superlaser Control Room
-Superlaser Observatory
-Conversation Room
-Prison (now with cells)
-Hangar (with flashy mirroring)
-Trash Compressor Room (with green water)
-Corridors
-Hyper Matter Generator Room
-Rest Quarters
-Laser Batteries
-Funcional Buttons EVERYWHERE
-Exhaust Port (due to technical limitations, the hole on the disc is the exhaust port)
-That famous place, where there is no fence

Buttons for the middle seat in the observatory:

Manual Fire (No effect)
1. Targeting Camera
2. Projectile Connectors ON/OFF
3. Spherical Gravity Generator ON/OFF
4. Superlaser Fire ON/OFF (aka Gravity Generators)

Automated Fire (Laser effect)
7. Projectors ON/OFF
8. Timer Blocks ON/OFF
9. Automated Fire with Laser Effect

Armed with a Superlaser and 2 Laser Batteries for the hangar.

This beast took me about 30 hours to complete for the first release + 10 hours to finish it for this release. The sphere was built by hand as well!

DO NOT RE-PUBLISH THIS WORKSHOP ITEM IN ANY FORM BEFORE CONTACTING ME
It took me so much time to build, so please respect this.

I hope you will have as much fun as I did blowing up Nebulon-B frigates and Acclamators.
Believe or not, it was built for my survivor, but in creative in a different world, to have a fix blueprint, when it comes to welding. I think I'll just leave it for creative, because there is not enough ore in the entire galaxy to build it and keep it fueled.

This Star Wars build from the New Hope and Rogue One is my first, completed and published Star Wars build EVER. If you want to see anything else, leave a comment down below.

\\\!!VERY IMPORTANT!!\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
It can get Clanged if you are rotating, while charging up the Superlaser. I also recommend you to remove "floating objects" as soon as your projectiles hit their target, because if the projectile gets into the Death Star itself by bouncing off your target, it can get Clanged, thanks to the projectiles 200 m/s speed (without any mods, which is crazy). To keep the comment section clear, please don't spam it with the issue mentioned above. This is something I can not fix, because it is more of a problem with the GAME itself, not the build. If they fix this, then it will be fixed.

The firing mechanism is most likely outdated by now. The next release will fix that and make it easier.

Hey, my friends and I are new to Space Engineers. How do we get this to fire?
Nadia Gottlieb  [author] Jun 30, 2020 @ 8:32am
The game engine itself couldn't handle it, even if there was a game mechanic for it.

Would there be a way to make it powerful enough to blast a hole straight through a planet? That would be pretty awesome if possible.

An updated version is in the making. Sadly a PC reset pushed me back a lot, so I don't have any ETA. That should be more easy to fire.
