Mega Man 10 - Solar Man

Description


An attempt at a Super Smash Bros.-inspired recreation of the Robot Master, Solar Man, from Mega Man 10.

He comes with a somewhat-hokey Solar Flare both in its balled up form (which comes with a ready-made rotating loop) and its explosive wave form.

Included are sequences which open his hands wider, clench his fists or point his index fingers. I also gave him some eyelids with sliders for blinking, an angry face or a sad face. Additionally, I added two bones on both his shoulders which should hopefully alleviate any major clipping that occurs when you rotate his arms.

It took a long old time to make this model, this being my first attempt at high-poly baking in Blender and texture-painting in any sort of detail. Everything was made from scratch, using the Wii U model of Mega Man as a reference.

@ Deep Weeb - If I'm thinking what I think you're thinking, you might be talking about doing SSB versions of either the Shovel Knight or Mighty No. 9 cast - in either case, I'd be up for it.

I'm still not 100% on what models I'm doing or in what order (I'm all over the place on that, honestly), but I'd be interested in either of those games.

On a side-note, I've almost finished the release images and videos for the next Mega Man 10 Robot Master and I'm hoping to have it all finished and released later today.

I'm not requesting, just asking, what about making SSB-styled versions of certain game that's Mega Man, but not actually. You know, that one .
(At least to give the character proper 3D models...)
