Eden Extended Objects

This mod is mainly targeted for terrain building, however you can also use it to extend the standard maps in your missions. If you do so, your users will need to download this mod in order to play the missions. Abusing of this mod in a mission file may result in loss of performance.

This small editor extension adds these three functionalities.

1. Insert items that are not available in Eden vanilla.

* Trees
* Bushes
* Clutter
* Plants
* Signs
* Castle ruins
* Power Wires

These items can be accessed under the appropriate Eden categories.

LEGAL NOTICE: this mod does not contain any Arma 3 content. All this mod does is expose the existing items from their original Arma 3 file locations in the Eden editor and in user-made scenarios.

2. "Multiply" a selection of objects, thus facilitating the creation of forests, rocky areas, civilian groups, etc.

To access this functionality, select one or more objects that you would like to multiply, right click on your selection and in the contextual menu click on "Extended Objects: Multiply". Objects will be created around your original selection.

3. Rotate objects.

Apply a random different rotation to each object of a selection by pressing F9.

I cannot understand why your mates need to download this mod, when they want to play a map with these objects in it. I mean, these objects are Arma 3 "vanilla" objects, they are not mod objects.
I downloaded this mod, because I can finally use street signs.... Why BI did not give us all objects, but instead blocked many of them for privat use?

Missions that have items added with this mod will require this mod @Reaper.

If you still want to use certain things, you can try createsimpleobject.
You can spawn a junk item, put this code in it, and change the "thing.p3d" to whatever you want it to be.

pos = this getRelPos [0,0];
Bush = createSimpleObject ["a3\plants_f\Bush\b_ArundoD3s_F.p3d", pos]; Bush setPos (getPos this);
hideObject this;

@[LXI] Reaper because it uses Arma 3 assets you already have, it shouldn't have any dependencies.

@Revyn if only your answer wasn't like in the first paragraph of the mod description.. :)
Booker Feb 18 @ 5:23pm
@Revyn, Yes, everything that this mod has will in fact have to have the scenario listed in it. Those Scenarios will not work without this mod.

Sorry if someone already asked, but if I, let's say, publish a mission on the workshop that I used this addon to create with, will the person subscribing to the mission need to download this addon too?

@Tornadodude92 LOL don't be so hard on yourself :)
