using the scripted weapon test map's assets, you could make update your maps with zelda weapons, starting with temple of time since it's smaller and already has good spots for weapons.

If you press the menu setting where u see the hub showing ur library and such u can change it under there, it will not show up in steamvr home however, atleast for rift it doesn't

Custom controllers work while the Steam overlay is up; if you're just running around the main "Home" area they don't.

The sword does work, although it's aimed a little high (or perhaps a little low depending on how you look at it). I don't know if that's unique to the Rift or universal.

I think it should work with the touch controllers as long as you use SteamVR. I'm not entirely sure about it tough as I don't own a rift.
Also Valve is at the moment redoing their controller skin system, if you have SteamVR Home already enabled I think it's actually impossible to make these work for now. The best thing to do is wait for Valve to update steamVR. As soon as they release the new system I will update this.

As far as I know you could get a different model for the 2nd controller, if you'd make it an extra submission.
