IMDC Atlas-class Light Frigate Mk. 3

The Atlas is the workhorse in the fleet of the IMDC, its primary role is escort, support and supplying logistics. With its large turbo jets and the help of hydrogen rockets, it can land on and start from every astral body of the universe and provide fire support, troops, oxygen, ammo components and anything else. The hangar of the Atlas is large enough to carry several Pumas, Ocelots or an Osprey or Vulture into battle.

While initially not built for frontal attacks on any ships larger than itself, the Atlas can be quite a threat if upgraded with enough rocket launchers, and heavy armor. Though one should consider the amount of mass, since it might become unable to hover and take off from any planet.


! Due to a bug with H thrusters where ships using them would slowly sink down and would not correctly use inertia dampeners, the Hydrogen Thrusters are deactivated by default at the moment.
However the Atlas can still hover over earth !

! Due to issues with the script and changing features and branches of the game, the Torpedo is not working at the moment. It wont track anything at all !
