(6 - 8) Cold Lienne Forest

The Germans used the Ardennes forest twice during WW2; the first time to flank the French and British in 1940 in the Battle of France, and the second time in 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge. Neither time was easy. Dense forests and critical bridges made movement potentially hazardous as armies could easily bunch up on the tight roads in the region.

The thick, embedded forestry of this region will demand heavy armor to clear paths.
