Description
A replacement for the Quick Start mod that skips the first mission and jumps you directly to the post-mission briefing. No time in the skyranger waiting for things to load, no weird palettes. You get corpses, loot, and xp exactly as if you had done Gatecrasher yourself, but with no chance of injury or death.

Warning:
This mod is known to cause game crashes on some systems with some combinations of other mods. It is a timing-dependent problem in the base game code that I can't fix. If the mod causes crashes for you, I apologize, please uninstall it.

Fuck :/ my game keeps crashing. and after i hav read discription of the mod, i am really hopefull that there is a chance to fixt this....

FYI if you are having crashes, I suggest once you get passed the first mission, make a save, then disable the mod. Iron man player won't like that because it still requires some waiting to boot up the game (especially if you have a lot of mods) but just thought I'd mention it. I know disabling mods mid playthrough is usually not recommended, but I haven't had any issues since disabling it.

nothing in this life has caused me more anguish than starting a new game, finding that two or three pods have spawned right next to each other, watching my hero get headshot from behind cover by a sectoid, restarting, and repeating for multiple hours on end

Amazing mod for testing, works fine with ~520 mods.

In campaigns I keep I always disable it after gatecrasher as a precaution. Use 'Remove Missing Mods WOTC' to remove the warning on your save file.

This mod seems to conflict with "instant avenger menus'. As soon as I disabled that one, crashing stopped. Also, sometimes this mod doesn't give you corpses and gives only loot. In any case, a very handy mod, thanks.

Works perfectly fine for me on LWOTC with nearly 200+ mods, love this mod. Makes doing ANY type of troubleshooting problems or mod conflicts and testing requiring new games as well as not having to do the first annoying mission

If somebody wonders, this mods works good on WoTC. But after the campaign, i recommend to turn it off so you don't have any crashes during the game (not necessary to unsub, just have it off is good enough).
