RT Fuse

Description
Researchable (RT Mods research tab) electric fuses to mitigate short circuits. When placed anywhere on a power network, each fuse will safely discharge up to three of network's batteries, mitigating or preventing the explosion.

Does not require a new colony to add or remove (might throw a one-time error).

@Nameless Keeper

Name the mods, so everyone can benefit.

I found out that the problem was that I had too many mods that added research/ I had to end up picking and choosing which ones to keep.

Still can't find it; the search bar only identifies from within the bars already present on the screen.

Thanks

@Nameless Keeper

Just use the search function in the research tab (unless you use the Dubs menu, where the search is half-useless) to search for `fuse`.

Can't find the RT fuse research tab. Is there anyone else who knows of this? If so, how do I fix it?

@TacocaT: There is a plethora of mods that add higher tier breakers to RT Fuse.
TacocaT Aug 31 @ 2:37am
request: a mod setting to adjust how much stored power each fuse or breaker protects, for use with other mods that add larger capacity batteries.

Or, if balance is a concern, higher tier breakers, I guess? :D

@Omega13: Yeah, me neither. To me it sounds like something else in your mod list is causing things to misbehave.

Brandon: I am aware that electrical devices can catch fire if not under a roof. That is not what is happening. I am getting faults in conduits that are unrelated to Zzzt (which is basically an event that never happens anymore anyway due to hidden conduits) and this mod is doing nothing to prevent battery loss or fire. Which, again, is something I have definitely never encountered in years of using this mod.
