This was very helpful for testing - it changed my CPU strategy, as I was surprised how well this Unity game used all 8 cores, plus I found a big impact from some LOD mods.

None of them are stable anymore. SH has killed them all. This will stable out after a while, but half of my jobs are abandoned. Maybe I can clean it up so there isn't so much abandoned buildings?

I have other smaller cities with fewer agents and only about half agents on the map. If that helps any? Springfield AD-3.1.1 on my workshp page.

Doesn't matter which city; we're just looking for a stable set of test cities where we can compare vanilla vs. TMPE. It's looking increasingly likely that we're going to rewrite the pathfinder from scratch (even if just to fix the parking AI bugs), so testing on vanilla cities is going to become routine.

Of this exact city? or different cities? I lost most of them in a backup from this game locking them in hidden folders. But I should have a few somewhere in my many different backups.

@Mark do you have smaller versions of this city, say around 250k, 70k, etc?

This savegame just became "official" performance testing city for TM:PE. Hopefully it will help us track down slow bits of TMPE and help us improve performance of the mod so it has less impact on fps.

Yes, this game won't allow more than about 30 FPS zoomed in, no matter your rig. Workshop will lower it, especially ai mods and graphic enhancing mods.

Hi guys, thanks to the author for the test save =) I'm using a 2700x, 32gb 3ghz, rtx 2060. FullHD.

Here are my stats:
Noworkshop+nodlc: zoomed in low settings: 30fps and 21fps max settings
zoomed out: about the same fps, a little bit higher.

With my mods (about 25) and assets (about 400 workshop entries, 1000unpacked)
I got about the same fps at max settings, about 20 zoomed in. The LOD is really what makes a difference here.

I was kind of pissed to have invested this much in a new processor and graphic card for not a lot gain in fps, but seeing that everyone get the same 20fps zoomed in I know that it's the game the problem and not my pc. :-)

Hope this was helpful

and with -noWorkshop -disableMods flags set, save file is actually quite fluid and reasonably smooth, definitely playable with i7 2670qm 16GB SRAM GTX 560

Yes, it will drop. The city was saved almost 3-years ago and had a half dozen or so updates since. It will even itself out after a year or so, if it doesn't collapse, but it will still fluctuate on population and income constantly.

This is a second save, as it is, since the old save would collapse immediately and go abandoned from traffic AI changes from a DLC release around this time.
