Journey Through Gel

Description
A lenghty solo chamber using all four types of gels and their effects on the player and cubes. Intended for advanced players who already have an understanding of how the gels behave. Due to the nature of gels and their physics-changing nature, some of the sub-chambers can be a bit... finicky. I've tried my best to direct the player but if you can't execute something (and feel like it should work), it probably is the right solution. Either way, good luck!

Let me know what you thought of the puzzle, feedback is very welcome! If you liked this then check out some of my other chambers: Shielded Funnel and Cube Wash.

This chamber was built using the in-game PeTI editor and a modification called "Ben's Extended Editor 2". The mod, now being developed by many more people, allows for the use of custom styles, items and buildings. Through the use of B.E.E.2. I was able to create a very interesting chamber, with items you wouldn't normally find. The mod is still in Beta and so has a lot of bugs, but if you want to create something similar feel free to check their Github[github.com].

Sorry for the really late reply but I left what help I had on your chamber.

Nice map, I have a question. How did you put a music without Dr Kleiner error on the beginning saying "Oh fiddlesticks, what now"? Because most of my musics on BEE2.4 get errors. I don't know how to fix it. On reconstructing the music is normal, but the problem is when publishing, then Dr Kleiner appears. You can see an example on one of my chambers that I created called "Very Hard Difficult #3". Could you help me? Thanks

Thanks for posting on Reddit - I've been sat on this for a while, but only just got round to publishing it on YT. Looks like there are numerous ways to solve the chamber as I did it completely different to Deathwish. Anyway, I hope to see more from you soon.

Hey there thanks so much for playing and making a video! I've responded to the points you've raised and the areas you've got stuck in during the video in a comment on the subreddit here :).

Straight forward. The light bridge room could be shortened from side to side so the cube doesn't take so long and so it has less chance of glitch through the bridges.

Just having the conversion gel in the last room easily breaks that area as you'll see.

Hiya! Thanks for leaving a comment and some feedback, I wanted to reply in detail to the points you made but unfortunately Steam has a character limit on comments.

Please see my comment in the Reddit thread you saw this from :).

Hello, saw your map on the PeTI page on reddit and decided to give it the ole college try. Unfortunately I was unable to complete the chamber in full, I got trapped between some railing in the turret section. I guess my initial impressions are that the chambers might be a bit too large for their own good, it makes it hard to discern progression, and more irritating when you have to repeat a section. For example in the crusher portion, it's difficult to track the movement of the cube and keep track of the timers.

I find that Portal chambers tend to work best in bite sized chunks, and there is some promising ideas and chamber designs in this test (far as I've seen). Perhaps take a few of the best aspects and split them up into multiple maps? Cheers, hope this helps.
