XBox 360 Weapon Skins

Description
Please note that I did not create these skins and accept no credit for them. They were created by id Software/Pi Studios. I merely converted them from Quake Arena Arcade.

UPDATE: Fixed the broken shaders on the Prox Launcher.

INSTALLATION:
Place x360weaps.pk3 in your Quake Live\baseq3 folder.

Good stuff. I think you might need to create new .aas files for the maps. It's been ages since I messed around with this, I'm a little rusty.

All I need to do is figure out why it isn't loading the AAS file, why the barriers just aren't working, get the skybox & music (that would be easy enough) and fix the texture stuff

Otherwise working with lighting now

Use the .bms script linked to here: https://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?t=266

I can't share the pak0.bpk file on here for obvious reasons, but these files will get you started. Have fun :P

Ah ok, good to know.
Any link to the extraction tool? I would appreciate it ^-^
scalliano  [author] Jul 25, 2020 @ 2:31pm
The other problem is that the 360's pak0 file isn't a regular .pk3, and the extraction tool needed to get at the files doesn't preserve filename or folder structure. This means that any texture/shader info specific to those maps are broken and will need a lot of trial and error to get working. Even getting the weapon skins working was a pain in the arse.

Also, the maps are in .ibs/.eaa format instead of .bsp/.aas. Renaming them gets them to load, but whether or not this is responsible for breaking the lightmaps I'm not sure.

My friends and I don't really care about lighting much as we play with fullbright
If you sent it over though I could try to fix the lighting
scalliano  [author] Jul 24, 2020 @ 8:48am
Sadly, no. The maps load in QL but the lighting is completely glitched with no real way (that I know of) to fix it.
