The Nighwing is the primary fighter craft used by the Eldar, combining a speed and manoeuvrability that no Imperial or any other aircraft can match
with heavy fire power and highly advanced energy fields for protection
a nightwing pilot is exspected to enter combat highly outnumbered and still gain control over the skies
the nightwing can peform maneuvers that would send lesser craft in an uncontrollable plummet and achieve speeds which would tear them apart

this is not a build practical for suvival
