In this guide I'll present you several mods, which should not be missing in your ETS2 mod folder. This guide will be updated for 1.23 when this version was officially released!

Pack provides improvements to common sounds in the game, making the sounds feel more immersive and real.

After some feedback by users of this mod, the following changes were made:

Slight reduction of volume of high speed tire noise in interior (realistic insulation in the cab).

Corrected some volumes for headphone/headset users.

More truck mods supported for snow on wiper sounds in Frosty Winter Weather Sound addon.

[ETS2 edition] Changed one of the AI traffic truck horn sounds.

FEATURES
========
Realistic asphalt tire sounds that resonate depending on how fast you are accelerating and what speed you are in, giving a feel for your sense of speed.
Heavier gravel sounds when driving on dirt or gravel roads.

Increases range of suspension sounds from just tire suspension sounds to cabin, trailer and tire suspension sounds.
Light impacts trigger speed bump or irregular road surface suspension sounds.
Medium impacts trigger squeaking of cabin.
Very hard impacts may trigger the sound of a key swinging.

“Late music” replaced with Nokia phone ringtone sound (Volume of this sound depends on Music volume in Audio settings in-game).

“Bing bong” chime for train loading screen sound and ferry loading screen sound.
Reworked garage door sound and corrected its volume to a lower level.
Reduced volume of adviser message sound.
Reduced volume of yawn slightly for fatigue simulation.

Classic/historic ding sound for while the fuel is pumping (circa 1960s to 1970s). The number of dings give you an idea on how much you refueled.
Real fuel pump, fuel lid sounds, door close and key insertion sound effect for after refueling to a full tank.

Mix of stock amplified gear grinding sounds and new gear grinding sounds. Can be heard when you have damaged the transmission and gearbox.

Increased volume for interior stick sounds: parking brake stick, blinker stick lever.
Real stick/switch/button sounds for: parking brake, hazard light, blinker / indicator / turn signal, light switch.

Retarder sound changed to real retarder sound.
Lift axle sound now includes button press sound effect.
Real sound effect for trailer coupling. Also includes the sound of the trailer brakes connecting straight after the fifth wheel coupling.

Driver Alert Support system sound installed on all trucks (ETS2 exclusive feature).

AI traffic vehicles given new horn sounds. Depending on the patience of the driver, a short or long honk may be used.
AI traffic trucks/buses given more variations of sounds (turbo, engines, gear changes).
You can hear the slight sound of vehicles overtaking you or passing by you in the oncoming lane.

Wind will sound slightly faster from cabin when you drive at a high speed.
Pattering of rain on windshield audible inside the truck during heavy rain.
Louder volume and reworked audio for biplanes, trains (included train horn), helicopters, cable cars and Boeing planes

COMPATIBILITY
============
Compatible for and tested on ETS2 version 1.22.8 + ATS version 1.1.1.
No errors in game log.
Fully stable mod.

Compatible with all trucks including mod trucks.
Does not replace individual truck sounds, so can be used with an unlimited amount of truck sound mods of your choice.

Compatible with all maps.

Supports compatibility with Realistic Weather Sound 1.7.4 (provides realistic thunder and exterior rain sounds).
Both mods can be enabled at the same time. Check load order image for more details.

OPTIONS
=======
ETS2: Disable Driver Alert Support sound

ETS2/ATS: Frosty Winter Weather Sound addon
ETS2/ATS: Enable police siren sound for pursuit simulation
ETS2/ATS: Open truck window

May be found in the Options folder when you download the pack.
If using these options, make sure to enable the option with higher priority than the Sound Fixes Pack for the sound to take effect!

INSTALLATION
===========
Mod requires higher priority than mods with a game_data.sii file.
Otherwise, correct operation of pack not guaranteed.

This is probably the best map expansion for ETS2. It does not adds as much streets and countries as the TruckSim - Map, but is much more detailed. ProMods rebuilt the default map, added more cities, and includes Poland Rebuilding. If you have to decide between ProMods and TruckSim - Map, you must understand the following:

• ProMods adds a little bit of Southern Europe (e.g. Southern France and Andorra). Furthermore, it adds many countries in Northern Europe like Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
  I personally prefer ProMods, because it is more detailed and adds interesting countries in the North and East of Europe.
  
• TruckSim - Map adds very many countries and streets in Southern Europe (e.g. Spain, Greece) and even Northern Africa (e.g. Tunisia). So if you prefer driving through Southern Europe and being on a ferry crossing the Mediterranean Sea, you should choose TruckSim - Map. Altogether it is your decision which map you want to drive on. In this guide I just want to present the two map mods to you and you may choose the better one.
