Description
No mods. No scripts. Made for creative mode.

NOTICE: When pasting the walker, try to put it as close to the ground as possible otherwise you will damage the feet.

Description:

The Goliathus is a fully functional hexapod walker made for use on planets. It has a top speed slightly slower than your character's jogging speed. It is armed with two large forward facing rocket launchers, four small rocket launchers mounted on the turret and eight defensive turrets. You will need to set control of all blocks to yourself for the defensive turrets to function.

The walker is controlled solely from the cockpit located in the turret. A jetpack must be used to get to the cockpit because, lets face it, this isn't practical at all and is just good fun to play with. All controls are listed in front of the cockpit.

Walking:

- The vehicle moves using timers and rotors. To begin walking forward, press 1. If you want to turn, press either 2 or 3 for Left or Right, respectively. When you want to stop turning, press 2 or 3 again.

- Press 4 to stop all walking timers. If you want to be able to start walking again after this you will need make sure to stop the legs in a position so that the front left leg is forward and the right one is back. Also all legs should be level.

- For reverse, press 2 and 3

The walker is tall enough to walk over some trees, but I recommend shooting any that may be in your path. Also, hills are not your friend. The feet do not grip the surface very well on an incline even when I tried using tires.

Turret Info:

- The turret starts in a locked position, go to the second page of the controls to unlock the turret rotor.

- Click mouse to fire turret guns.

- Horizontal movement is done via gyro controls.

- For verticle movement of the guns there are two timers blocks, 6 rotates the gun UP, 7 rotates the gun DOWN. You can make minor adjustments to the angle of the gun by quickly pressing 6-7 or 7-6 to make them go up or down by just a little bit. WARNING, there is enough gun depression to shoot the front of the walker if your guns are pointed down.

Known Problems:
- When sitting on an armor block floor, the whole walker slowly rotates counter clockwise, on "natural" terrain it stays still.
- The turrets have been embedded in the hull so they can't shoot the legs, but sometimes the stray shot still get through.
- Multiplayer may be buggy as usual.

Never thought about it. There's probably a reason you only find even-numbered legs in nature.
