Tank Ace Otto Carius Schwere Panzer-Abteilung 502

Historic dipiction of Tiger Ace Otto Carius Tiger 217 that he used on the Eastern Front in the winter of 1943 and at the Battle of Malonovka Spring 1944. Model features historic Dunkelgelb two tone camo, battle damaged zimmerit that 217 had sustained by the spring of 1944. Added detail to drivers vision block and commander cupula.

Otto Carius was credited with destroying more than 150 tanks. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. This was awarded to recognise his extreme battlefield bravery and successful military leadership.
