This would suit an ejection system, or maybe a missile battery, as well as an emergency all-stop/avoidance capability. :selike:

Lemme add my voice to RazersEdge.
A small hydrogen thruster with MASSIVE output, and terrible fuel efficiency would be great for an emergency booster.
This thing is just too huge for that purpose.

If I could make a mod sugestion, one booster I was hoping to find but couldn't is an instant boost for an ejection system, like you find in most modern military craft that blow out the canopy and then thrust the pilot seat out to safety. I would love to see or find a mod that adds tiny boosters that shot a powerful burst, for the purpose of ejection systems.

Look Great In the interior of an Engine room asd well. Only 2 bugs i have found so far. 1 puting a sliding door on the wider suface of the thruster causes the whole large grid to flip out. 2 there are points around the thruster were its airtight and some others that are not. I just encased the thusters in armour anyways and leave them naked in the engine rooms n such were it looks amazing with an industrial theme

These are perfect Engines for very Large ships. If I can offer my opinion these are better off just being large industrial thrusters u would put on a humungous flag ship wich I have already done and it alows for even better frame rates because u dont have 100 thrusters to manouver the thing so your not downing in particle effects for just engines on a ship alone. Great mod here. These are essentially suoer indutrial ion mega thrusters IMO.

I agree. It should take damage as it is used and need repairs. maybe 15 seconds before it burns out and a anti-grav emergency thruster block that can only be turned on then it gives 45 seconds of thrust (to escape or exit atmosphere) but cannot be deactivated and must be repaired before reuse.

For the planetary thruster instead of having a high power consumption simply make a huge combustible resource cost because it should seem as if it is a single use solid fuel thruster.

Doesn't seem 'Emergency' enough.

I'd suggest an even smaller, lighter, cheaper version with an even higher fuel consumption.
That possibly burns out as it's used.
