Jedi Starfighter ETA-2 Actis Interceptor v2 (survival ready)

Description
Modified to be more operational, survival ready. Version 2 uses an Azimuth battery for power and has a connector for recharging. I've also refined the color graphics and reshaped the main fuselage. This is the closest I can get to screen accuracy while having the ship "flyable" though there is a lot of room for improvement in handling and speed. Sadly, with the slanted wings (being a real pull on the physics) this is as close as I can get.

Ah, well if custom blocks were made for it that would be so cool! You could probably even pitch it to ARMCO and have it added to the Star Wars SE modded blocks collection =D good luck!

My pleasure, and I hope to get back to it. Though I may have to learn modding, since I'm having trouble finding blocks I like. Plus, it kind of relied on safety lock to prevent the wings from flipping the ship nose over thrusters.

sorry this is pretty late but yes the repulsors seem to have been boosted by quite a bit, my current ETA-2 based off of your MK 1 version is using 3 1x2 small repulsor lifts for up down and 2 1x2 repulsor lifts for side to side, works very well and has lots of maneuvering power. Good luck with your other projects, and can not wait for your next iteration! yeah ARMCO has really brought Star Wars to SE in a big way, but they don't have an ETA-2 Actis and that is my favorite starfighter next to the X-Wing. =D I did experiment with attempting to piece your MK 2 together but i lack the skill XD anyways thanks again for the awesome ship and can't wait for the next version! =D

I am aware of the mods but I think you for your offer. When last I was testing the repulsor mod the forces were too weak to provide effective maneuvering, perhaps they are better now. I know there was a large scale project recently to bring a bunch of updated Star Wars mods to SE as well (headed by Captain Shack if I'm not mistaken). At the moment I have other projects on my plate including a fairly in-depth D&D video podcast so I don't know when I'll get back to it but I do plan to, and I'm super happy you enjoy the work =D

oh alright sounds good! just a suggestion the star wars repulsors pack is what i am currently using with your V1 build in order to have a functional ETA-2. Also using the retracting landing gear mod as well as a few other modifications such as custom proton launchers and a hyperdrive while i try and build an actualy hyper ring. Would you like me to provide links to some of these? they have been essential in my own replica builds as the repulsors are small and compact but put out a lot of power and the retracting landing gear hides very seamlessly with most surfaces :) Thank you for your response, i look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

It relied on some mods that have since been removed completely. I have taken a crack at it now and then with mixed results. I'll certainly have another go at it. I need to familiarize myself with the new mechanics and mods available.

i understand you said this was outdated but even with all the mods subscribed the ship is missing pieces and flails itself around until it tears itself apart.... its a real shame because she looks beautiful. Take Your time but please update this at some point, thank you!

Be my guest. I haven't had time to look into it. Also, with Keen changing the look of the blast door blocks it's hard to get the same aesthetic anymore. I was going to try doing it with the Plane Parts mod.

can i update it (or at least try but fail)

This blueprint is rather out of date unfortunately, I haven't had time to update it to new mods and new Space Engineers. Rest assured it will be coming but I'm still settling in after a move so my time is somewhat limited at the moment.
