Description
cp_overgrown is a 2cp map a new custom overgrown South American jungle villa resort theme, created originally for the TF2Maps.net 2015 Summer 72hr Mapping Contest, and later updated in collaboration with Pear for consideration in the Jungle Update.

The map features a train mechanic, where, after capturing first point, attackers can ride the train into a flank route deep in enemy territory.

The map is currently being ran 24/7 on my US server, located at: 192.223.30.133:27015

Crash: Original design/ logic/ layout, detailing, refinement, optimization, clipping.
Pear: Massive gameplay redesigns, custom theme artpass, Overgrown pack custom models/ materials, detailing.
Void: Logo, custom soundscape, material blends.
Fuzzy: Custom materials.
Dr Spud: Vineyard pack ivy props.
Frontline team: Various windows and door props.
E-Arkham: Tree leaf props base (modified by Pear).

To load the map locally, subscribe, open the game, open the console with ~ (you may have to enable this in the settings), and type "map workshop/503939302" without the quotes.

I love this map!!! I just spent less than 10 minutes running around and I know where to go because it is made so well. Valve please add this map!!!!

Big update!

Changelog:
Removed basement between first and second areas, overhauling and refining gameplay around it in the process
Reduced multiple unneccesary routes between blu's first spawn and first capture point, between first point and last, and around last. Basically everywhere has some tweaks.
Big lighting overhaul, new time of day, much brighter and happier now, removed unneeded lights around the map because of this.
Tons of little tweaks all over the map.
Some further optimization, woo!
Clipping/ bug fixes.

How did this not get into the Jungle Inferno update!? tbh this would have been the best addition, though is it just my pc or are frames slightly low on this map + all the newly added ones lol
