Step 1. Getting the funds for your company.
Okay. This is it. You've just started out as a small time driver for hire, with 2000 euros to your name and you want money to create a full company, fast. Well, look no further, for I will show you how.

First, you'll want to do 3 - 5 Quick Jobs. These will get you some experience and a few thousand euros. Over this period of time, you will receive 4 emails. They are, in chronological order, an email about where your favorite truck can be found (whatever you set it to, that's not for me to know), an email from the bank saying you can take out 100,000 euros (This is a loan, but we don't want this one, trust me). The next email will be about a certain company looking for drivers for hire with their own equipment (truck). Personally, I don't bother with these, but once you have your own truck you can do as you wish. The fourth and final email (the one we've been waiting for) will entail that you can now take out 400,000 euros. Now, this is where things can become a tad bit complicated, but you shall understand in due time. Now, to the next step.
Step 2. Preparing for your new company.
Okay, to recap, we did 3 - 5 quick jobs, ignored three emails and took out a 400,000 loan. Now, when you start the game, you have a basic garage. Pretty plain, boring and simple. But, this can change. First, you'll want to buy your first truck. Now, this is fairly simple, just go to your favorite truck dealer (it will have been automatically discovered for you) and buy your first truck. You will then be teleported to your garage, wherever that may be. Now, you will notice that you can access the Company Manager menu on the pause menu. If you proceed to click on it, it will come up with three sub-sections: Truck Manager, Driver Manager and Garage Manager. What you'll want to do is click the garage manager one and you'll be brought to a list. Currently, they'll be only one entry, your home garage (your first one, your basic one, whatever) If you click on the entry in the list, you'll see some more detail about that garage. Now, you'll see a picture of your garage in the top left. On the bottom of it, there will be an 'Upgrade' button. Click that, and click confirm and you will have successfully upgraded your garage. It should now be able to hold three drivers and three trucks. Now, for the next part.
Step 3. Getting your first driver (and their equipment, of course)
To recap so far, we got a loan, we got our first truck and we managed to upgrade our garage to a higher capacity. You'll notice now that two more garage slots have opened up for you. Now, that is where our new driver for your company comes in. If you've been paying close attention to certain towns and cities, you'll find that a building will be called Driver@.net. This is where our first driver can be found. When you first enter the location, there will only be one or two drivers. These drivers will have a very low rating (0.8). Don't worry, this happens at the start, and with the right training, their rating can go up quickly. Now, you'll want to hire one of these drivers of your own choice. It'll say some stuff about him/her arriving at your garage, and that he'll/she'll need a truck. Now, you also may have noticed there are a lot of different truck dealers, some are big, some are small. Some sell Renault and some sell Volvo. Now, for every driver you hire, he'll/she'll need some eqiupment (a truck, so to speak.) Now, you can either buy him/her a truck from your first dealership, or you can find another dealership for him/her to have a truck from. Now, you'll want to purchase another truck, whatever it is, for him/her. It will ask you if you want to drive it, to which you say, no. Do not drive the new truck, just have it delivered to your garage. Now, to the next and final step.
Step 4. And you're done!
So, to recap for the last time, we got a loan, got our first truck, got an upgraded garage, got our first driver and got them a truck.

You're done now! Or at least, you're done for now. Let me explain...

Basically, your driver will now eventually start to earn you money. It will be slow at the start, but they will improve. Now, don't go around hiring drivers and buying more trucks just yet. You'll want to wait a while until you can start turning a solid profit from your garage. You should only really hire a driver and buy a truck for them until your sure you have enough for it. Don't forget, you'll be paying off your loan as well, so keep that in mind when hiring new people. If your garage gets full, just keep upgrading it until it becomes maxed. At this point, you'll want to buy a new garage. But, enough for now. That was how to create a profitable company in ETS2. Thank you for reading, and goodbye.

I feel like the game started out kinda hard. I was worried about scratching my truck cause I couldn't afford it. Once I started buying trucks to work for me, I was soon rolling in money and sleeping now gets me like 1 billion more euros.

I learnt this method through trial and error. I find it more rewarding than other methods, but I wouldn't say my method is the best.

Often there is a combo bonus with J-I-T (fast delivery) and either fragile or heavy or all three in one contract. One of each will give the jobs, later the money and XP bonus just increases

Some good tips Skye. I recommend them all, however I use the skill tree system the way I play e.g. I don't use J.I.T and leave it till later. It is all depends on how you like to play, is the way I see it.
