Target GPS coordinates calculation tool

Description
This tool allows you to calculate GPS location of immobile target from distance of view.
It's based on triangulation. You point the target from first position, then from another position and get approximate target location, distance and measurement error.

How to do:
1. Use zoomed camera to poit the target ("1" hotkey). Ajust gyro power for more precize pointing ("2","3" hotkeys).
2. Press "4" hotkey, it runs first program block and stores your first location and pointing.
3. Strafle right or left, up or down, no matter in which direction to new position. The more shift you do, the more precize will be measurement.
4. Point your target again with zoomed camera. Try to achieve maximal accuracy, cause it affects measurement error much.
5. Press "5" hotkey. It runs second program block, which stores your second position and pointing and calculates your target coordinates, which will be shown on frontal text panel.

Have fun, feel free to use this script to transfer measured target location to GPS guided torpedoes, laser antennas for establishing connection (haven,t try it, i dont know, if precision is enough for laser antennas) etc.

I'm trying to get this to work but it's not showing up in my blueprints. Am I doing something wrong here?

Шикарно! =) До сих пор работает =) если изгольнуться, то даже можно применить в условиях текущих серверов, когда всё порезано и разрешен лишь один программный блок, без таймеров =)))

A copy identical to your original as large ship version seems to work otherwise perfectly but the target monitor fails to get calcutaled data. If you are up for looking at it; accept my steam friend request and I'll invite you to check it out.

it's simple to make larger copy of this. all you need is any of your large ships. place two programmable blocks and load scripts from pb1 and pb2. also place 3 gps blocks on your ship (i use spotlights as gps blocks). U must place them symmetricaly as left/right/top. It means top spotlight mus be in the middle of left and right and some blocks above. Also u need a camera. and thats all. Try it, if smth goes wrong you can ask me a question here or give me invite to your game.
