Notes received from experimental site L4D-3 are attached below. Suggest discontinuation of project in light of potential risks post containment and confirmed decontamination of region. Suggest we have Jim from marketing deny the existence of L4D-3 and implicitly threaten legal action against anyone attempting to bring L4D-3's existence to light.

L4D-3 (Bio Resilience Virus Test) Experiment Report

Abstract (Draft): The purpose of L4D-3 testing is to test a newly discovered viral vector that has the potential to reanimate a person who is for all intents and purposes dead where traditional methods of restarting brain and heart function after cessation of said function has failed. Primary tests were conducted on a healthy individual. We used a rhesus monkey named Charles as the test subject. Charles exhibited lethargy followed by a deteriorated physical state after infection. In contrast to his observable physical deterioration, Charles became increasing erratic and aggressive. Another interesting observation was that Charles was no longer interested in his bananas or any of his plant diet. He also seemingly attempted to bite staff whenever they came into close proximity. His energy levels were at odds with his lack of food. (More observations and finish results here)

Lab Notes

15th August 2017 - Day One Charles's health has slowly deteriorated throughout the day. 2 Hours after exposure he became lethargic. 4 hours after exposure Charles's irises have begun to change colour. Will report again tomorrow.

16th of August 2017 - Day Two We awoke during the night to screeching in Charles's cage. Physical symptoms include loss of fur in patches, frothing at the mouth and complete discolouration of irises from brown to red. Noticeably, Charles's mental state has swung from lethargic to enraged as he jumps furiously about screeching and rattling the cage while attempting to bite anyone who comes near. Attempts to draw blood for viral analysis have been futile due to his exacerbated state. Hopefully he will wear himself out and we will attempt blood tests tomorrow.

17th of August 2017 - Day Three Unexpectedly, Charles's erratic behaviour has shown no sign of easing and if anything is becoming increasingly so. Interestingly enough, his food hasn't been touched. His energy source is inexplicable at this time. Prior to viral injection, Charles was obsessed with bananas but hasn't touched them since Day One. I'm feeling unusually tired. I spoke to my lab assistant John about this and asked him if he could fill in for me but he seems to be under the weather as well. If I didn't know this virus wasn't contagious, I'd be a little bit worried. Will get back to it tomorrow.

18th of August 2017 - Day Four My arm!!! Flesh is falling off it!!! I must warn the others! Hmmm,.. the others... Why do I suddenly feel hungry? sdfslkjsf
