Description
The carnivorous kitlin xenotype originated among cat-loving glitterworld bodymodders. They have a reputation on the rim as lazy, useless, and easily distracted, and it's true that many of their feline-derived genes weren't chosen with a hard frontier life in mind. However, their agility and predatory instincts make them natural hunters and quite handy in a firefight.

Advantages

  • Prey drive (hunting fills recreation need)

Misc/Neutral

Disadvantages
  • Sleepy
  • Cathemeral (sleep fall x200%, sleep gain x200% = cat naps)
  • Easily bored (recreation fall x150%)
  • Carnivore (less nutrition from plant-based foods and becomes sick from eating them)

  • Beardless
  • Human jaw / facial tufts (due to a vanilla issue, all will currently generate with facial tufts)
  • Cat tail
  • Light fur
  • Tabby / tiger tabby / solid color

Compatibility
1.6 only. In 1.5, this xenotype is included in the base mod Cyanobot's Genes.

Generation
The frequency with which kitlin show up as factionless pawns (beggars, transport pod crashes, etc) can be controlled using a slider in the mod settings.

Additionally, a toggle allows kitlin to be added (2% spawn rate) to Tribal, Outlander and Pirate factions (including the cannibal/nudist variants from Ideology, but not including the single-xenotype variants from Biotech).

For finer control, use something like Xenotype Spawn Control.

I'd like to do more patterns at some point but the art takes me a long time, so don't hold your breath. Thank you for the suggestions though.

There is one tabby pattern per body type. It can either be black-on-hair-colour or darker-colour-on-hair-colour (both shown in the picture). There are five face patterns, which are randomised independently of head type. They can also be unpatterned, as the white cat in the picture.

If there's interest I could potentially do more cat patterns, but it will be slow. Graphics take me a long time. I'm already considering doing leopard spots.
