It's a light ship used in civilized atlantean sectors. Primairy role is to guide military vessels and act as a military grade police unit. It was designed to be fast and nimble so it could be dispatched quickly. It wouldn't do well in a head on fight as it's cockpit is exposed and made entirely out of light armor although this is compensated by an impressive forward acceleration and damping.
