Extended Ranges

"Ma'am... Bullets are not particularly fond of stopping."



Do you want long range guns?
This gives you long range guns.

Extended Ranges just increases the range of weapons.



Features:
- Set a modifier to increase or decrease weapon ranges. You will need to restart after the change!

- This will still use existing shooting accuracy which decreases after every tile. Maybe check out my other mod, Sharp Shots which changes this!

- Compatibility: Uses base game range so is compatible with anything designed to be compatible with vanilla Ribaorld.

Built for Range, Not Bickering

No funny business, no special exceptions — Extended Ranges was written to just work.

All the mod does is multiply a value against ranges at start. There should be no conflict with any mod that uses existing values in game.

This is almost certainly compatible with any other mod.

It applies to colonists, raiders, animals, mechanoids, turrets, and any new ranged-capable-creations other modders dream up.

Thanks for making these little mods, they're way nicer than trying to tune combat through the scenario editor.

I think I found an incompatibility with this one, range modifiers don't affect the heavy weapons from Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Heavy Weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if they do something weird under the hood considering how they have limited uses.

A text box instead of a slider would be appreciated, it's basically impossible to land it on 1.5x instead of 149/151

@Aeris Yes. Anything that can shoot, should be adjusted by the modifier.
