Fly-by Fog of War

Description
Very simple. The Fog of War gets removed from the entire sector around your ship.

This mod is for those who played X4 many times and just want to enjoy trade/war in a new game start.

This mod exclusively eliminates the white map fog, which typically marks unexplored areas.

There is no known compatibility issue with any other mods, also uninstalling shall not affect your save games.

love the mod, but ye in general fog of war means the not being able to see in RTS games anyway might just confuse some people:steamthumbsup:

Of course not. For that you need to install satellites to specific locations you want to observe.

Thanks Assailer. It still isn't working for me. By remove fog of war do you mean you can see all the ships flying around all over the sector and not just in radar range?

If you zoom in on the map you will see it's all clear. Map by default shows full fog when you zoom out, that we cannot change.

I started getting the log message but the fog of war still isn't cleared.

Hi Assailer, it isn't working for me either. The mod is enabled and there is no mention in the log.

Make sure you have the mod enabled. Pilot your a ship and in 10 seconds the fog should clear and also a log entry is dropped about this.

That doesnt seem to work (at least for me)...
Its doing nothing from my perspective.
