The Centauri Republic is an ancient interstellar empire steeped in grandeur, decadence, and fading glory. Once the dominant power in the known galaxy, the Centauri ruled vast territories with pride and arrogance - subjugating entire worlds, including the Narn, in pursuit of imperial prestige. Though their influence has diminished, the Centauri retain a potent mix of ambition, political cunning, and deeply rooted cultural pride.

Centauri society is hierarchical and aristocratic, ruled by a noble class obsessed with status, lineage, and ceremony. The Centaurum - an imperial senate of nobles - governs the Republic, while the Emperor serves as both figurehead and ultimate authority. Political intrigue is a national pastime, and assassinations, backroom deals, and manipulations are tools as common as diplomacy and warfare.

Their culture exalts art, tradition, and power, but beneath the opulence lies desperation: a deep-seated yearning to reclaim their lost empire. This ambition often leads to dangerous alliances and reckless gambits, such as dealings with dark forces like the Shadows in the hope of restoring their former dominance.

Centauri military forces are still formidable, with sleek warships like the Primus-class battlecruiser reflecting both style and lethality. However, their reliance on tradition sometimes blinds them to new realities, and their imperial pride can become their greatest vulnerability.

To the galaxy, the Centauri are elegant and dangerous - refined conquerors clinging to the memory of empire, ever willing to gamble everything for one last chance at greatness.

This patch has been tested with Stellaris version 4.0.14, but it should remain compatible with past and future versions. I will continue to monitor compatibility.

1. Is it playable without NSC3 installed?
->Yes it should. You just wouldnt have new NSC3 Ships. Means a smaller roaster.
