Description


Main goal of these mods is to provide a free, unbundled equipment base for faction modders and anyone who needs it.

Relatively compack of equipment themed after late medieval era western europe.

It's all just items. Also don't forget Core mod, it has base defs.

Apparel:
Clothes: arming doublet, fancy fur coat
Hats: chaperon
Helmets: open face helmets, armet, bascinet, sallet, (CE) bevor
Armor: reinforced gambeson,
Accessories(CE): sword scabbard, arrow bag, crossbowman's belt

Melee: pollaxes, single edged swords (falchion|messer), pike, horseman's axe, warhammer, cut&thrust polearms (halberds, voulge, gusarme, fauchard, couteau de breche)
Ranged: composite crossbow, steel heavy crossbow, handgonne (ball and shot), siege harkebus (heavy ball)


Lot of the items have several alternative stylings, you should get Craft with Color so you can have your stuff painted and styled appropriately!



No known conflicts.



Q: Why didn't you just update the old mod?
A: Save breaking changes that had to be done for better maintainability.

Q: Why does <item> have <value><stat>?
A: If you're using CE we can have a design discussion, but I don't play vanilla nor pretend (or really think is possible) to understand how vanilla should be balanced, please do submit better values, here or in a gitub issue. If something looks like a typo, it most probably is.

Q: Is this compatible with Combat Extended?
A: I indeed would prefer to be able to play with my own mods, yes.

Q: Safe to add/remove midgame?
A: Safe to add midgame. Safe to remove midgame, but you will get a harmless one-time errors. Do mind loadouts tho.

Btw also thought of consolidating a lot of similar items, ex. just have one def for fur hat then you can select whichever styling you want (styles tied to unlock when relevant equiment pack present so you don't get stuf you shouldn't be seeing). I could technically go even further and patch these onto vanilla items wherever applicable but that'd run into a lot of mod conflict concerns.

I think this is a good idea. It'd make it a lot easier to balance the stats and crafting if its just one base item (with visual retextures using styles).

Said it before, and say it again. Tasty series has become part of my favourite mods. I use them even when i dont have mods to inflate the medieval period in my playthrough

Every mod of yours that comes out I embrace as an unexpected wonder; don't listen to those who expect your work to adhere to their clock and take it for granted - they don't deserve it
I would certainly endorse your creations if only I did not reside in a certain country that does not validate international transactions ;-;
