Turkey Cosmetics Pack

Description
Welcome to Turkey Cosmetics Pack!
This mod is mainly made for personal use, therefore, many aspects are designed according to my taste in this game.

This mod aims to improve and fix the spelling mistakes, improve the Turkish names, add 500+ names for ships, aircraft, military equipment, divisions, and much more content to come. The mod is planned to feature more Turkish commanders, leaders, advisors, more names for all kinds of equipment and content in the future.

Turkish Names, Generals, Leaders and Advisors
  • Currently, enhanced the Turkish names present in the game. 276 male, 194 female names, and 278 surnames were added to the Turkish names list.
  • Now, all of your new generals and advisors will not be named like "Salih Omurtak", "Salih Cakmak", "Salih Orbay", "Reshad Omurtak". You will recognize them faster.
Planned:
  • Jon Turk leaders as generals, several other Turkish intellectuals as advisors, and Enver Pasha as the Fascist Turkish Empire country leader instead of M. Recep Peker.
  • Notable commanders of pro-Republic ex-Ottoman officers, War of Indepedence commanders and generals of the WW2 era Turkey, like Cemil Conk, Asım Gündüz, Nurettin Baransel, Mehmet Rüştü Sakarya, and Cafer Tayyar Eğilmez.
  • More portraits and changes of some for the Middle Eastern portrait pool are planned.

Ship Names
Warning: Having issues with the ship names right now. Select the ship name class as "None" and it wil automatically assign a renewed name from the mod.
Dozens of ship names were added from historical and real navy ships, as well as fictional names, cities and provinces, leaders, and historical battles, and the names currently existing in the game were renewed.

  • Fixed spelling mistakes in the use of Turkish characters, such as "Alcitepe" to "Alçıtepe".
  • A total of 430 names, based on historical ships and the Turkish Navy's inventory, notable Turkish Leaders, important battles, and fictional names.
  • Some names, such as "Mustafa Kemal Paşa", "Murat Reis," and "Alemdar", are added on two or more sections for flexibility. These names will be given to the first ship that is produced by the respective name and will not be available for other classes.

Land Equipments
  • All branches from tanks to support equipment now have their Turkish-fied names with model names. This includes "Light Tank Anti-Air" or "Medium Artillery" units.
  • Some names were taken from modern-day Turkish defence industry products, some are fictional.
  • Names are placed at the very bottom of the respective localisation file if you are to change them.

Equipment Designers
  • Company names are now proper. "Keçi Ticaret A.Ş." is actually named "Koç Ticaret A.Ş.". Paradox is somehow mistaken here. TOMTASCH is now renamed as TamTAŞ, the original abbreviation for "Tayyare ve Motor Türk A.Ş." (Plane and Engine Turkish INC.).
    Planned:
  • More Turkish defence companies, based on factories and industries from 1930-1950, such as Taşkızak Shipyards and Harbiye Artillery Factory, will be added.

Division Names and More Name Templates
  • More unique division names with nicknames, especially for notable units that took part in history and today.

FAQ:
Q: Can you add/change the name of X vehicle to Y vehicle?
A: I made this mod for personal use. If your name suggestion is to my taste, I will. Otherwise, no.

Q: Game doesn't load the X vehicle when I open the designer/Ship names aren't visible/name class is empty.
A: Please comment on which one is the problem, if you can.
