Engineer Mech

Description
Make sure that you have 'allow scripting 'allow share inertia tensor', and 'allow unsafe rotor torque' all enabled. The Fieldwork update now puts those in the world settings.

DISCLAIMER: I will likely update this build in the future, which may include adding blocks in additional DLC's

With the release of Space Engineers 2, I decided to go through my unpublished builds, get them finished, and put them on the workshop. Keep your eyes out for more soon!

CONTROLS:
WASD - Walk/Turn
C - Crouch
Space Bar - Jump

This is a mech that I created rather quickly to represent the logo for our Mech Engineers Discord. Some SE veterans may notice the callback to one of the old trailers and the SE logo of the Engineer raising his arm.

I also invite you all to join our Mech Engineers Discord. It is designed for those who build mechs in SE, would like to learn how to, or are just mech enthusiasts in general.

Blacksky5212 hi again!

First, it looks like that link is the same picture of the mech doing a handstand lol

But second, yes, this mech can definitely be modified to be weaponized. I designed it to be kind of a default "engineer" mech that could have a weaponized version, mining version, all kinds of options. I might end up making some versions of those myself, and you are welcome to make any version edits that you want and to publish them (just make sure to link it back to here for credit). I do have a ton of other projects in the works though, so it may be a bit before I make modified versions of this.

As far as the script goes, if you want to join our mech discord (link in description above), that is where we have the exclusive links to the beta version of the script, an in-game tutorial world and github tutorial, and tons of people who can help with ideas and troubleshooting!

As always, I'm happy to help any way I can!

Hi it's me again. So my friend who did the handstand is fiddling around with your mech, the design is set up for combat but the overall look of your mech was slightly changed by me, so with a few cosmetic alterations with a small portion of armour panelling on the fingers we changed the exterior of the mech only, we didn't touch the script in fear we would screw up somehow so my friend is wondering if you consider making different mechs can you possibly make a mech that is a weaponized version of the mech from before. I am going to show you an image of what my friend has done so far: https://1drv.ms/i/c/3edc73cd3c787c71/EcMG7EgTRZBGoL_lKlLB7SYBkPLJ0rz4u4pp7605e9L1ug?e=nVk0gU

Blacksky5212 how did you manage to get my mech to breakdance? :]

In all seriousness though, was this a glitch? Do you have 'enable scripts', 'enable share inertia tensor', and 'allow unsafe rotor torque' all enabled in your world?

This is what happens when me and my friend fiddled around with your mech honestly, I am a fan of the design and overall basic fundamentals of your mech it has solid foundation for use but this image will probably make you laugh:
