Drink Smart

Description
This mod adds a new option to drink from items, in or outside your inventory, just the amount of liquid you need to quench your thirst.

It works in build 42. You can enable it or disable it safely, whenever you want before loading an existing save.

Mod Compatibility:
This mod should not have any incompatibility with other mods, except those that overwrite ISInventoryPaneContextMenu.doDrinkFluidMenu.

2025-30-03 update: Now the option to quench your thirst will apear as "0% Thirst" and only will be enabled if the item has enough liquid to quench your thirst.

Añade una nueva opción para beber de ítems, dentro o fuera de tu inventario, la cantidad justa de líquido que necesitas para saciar tu sed.

Funciona en build 42. Puedes activarlo o desactivarlo de forma segura, cuando quieras antes de cargar una partida guardada.

Compatibilidad del mod:
Este mod no debería tener ninguna incompatibilidad con otros mods, excepto con aquellos que sobreescriben ISInventoryPaneContextMenu.doDrinkFluidMenu.

2025-30-03 update: Ahora la opción para saciar la sed aparecerá como "0% Sed" y solo estará habilitada si el ítem tiene suficiente liquido para saciar tu sed.

should add in where if you keep drinking past your thirst you start to feel mild pain and slight nausea moodle, and the more you keep drinking you experience maximum pain and maximum nausea and start to lose health slowly. it's uneeded but realistic.

@QS Because we can’t know the exact amount of water our bodies require, drinking more or less is actually more realistic.

Why did they remove it tho? This was a feature in B41 to drink exactly as much as your character wants but then in B42 you can only drink a preset amount of fluid

@SquallTemnov, It still works. As a vanilla feature, drinking options don't appear if you have less than 10% thirst and you try to drink from an object that only has water. If you enable "Eat Smart -Integrated", it should be above "Drink Smart" in the mod load order.

Option to drink "0 thirst" seems to dissapear after 47.0 update. "eat smart" works ok.

@Blessed Mother, Drinking from world objects (like sinks, toilets, wells, etc) was fixed in vanilla. This mod adds an option to drink from items (like bottles, saucepans, mugs, etc) with any drink, in or outside your inventory, just the amount you need to quench your thirst
