Information

This mod was solely made for Ferny's excellent Drag-Sorting mod to enhance both that mod and mine. Together, they bring the best of both worlds! Also now built in with Ferny's Coloured Categories!

Features

Hide any category send them to the warp!
advanced search mode that allows you to search for a specific icon or an entire Iconpack.
Uses icons from any icon pack mod!
Create custom categories
Full support for Architect Icons*(Icon packs are optional!)*
Categories,Text,Icons & Architect window now full customisation in settings
Ferny's Coloured Categories is now built in and improved

Ferny's Drag-Sorting did not have support for tab-sorting, and all RimWorld players hate having to choose between two mods due to compatibility issues. Both options suck.

So, I made my own version—as close to tab-sorting as possible but with upgraded features and more to come!






Compatibility

Fully compatible with Drag-Sorting – made specifically for it.
RimTheme is now fully supported
Safe to add mid-game and safe to remove from a save.
Not compatible with other mods that modify sorting or tab-sorting.
Not compatible with "Resize Architect Info" you can already do this in my mod.
Ferny's Coloured Categories" since its fully built in to the mod already
Mods that changes Gizmo behaviour will not work! For arcitecht windows part. Gizmo mods that change like buildings and pawns should work but not tested. If not let me know and i will try to fix it





Latest Updates

Fixed an minor worldgen error, thanks to 水晶哥牌音响 for reporting the error
Revamped the icon settings view for a much cleaner look. Removed bloat icons, keeping only architect icons
Added an advanced search mode that allows you to search for a specific icon or an entire Iconpack! Search starts 1,5 second after you stop typing. (Thanks for the idea, Amroth!)
Added an info box to remind users to refresh after hiding/unhiding, since the message can get lost when scrolling. (Thanks for reporting the issue, Paprikahörnchen!)
Added some custom colored icons
Capitalised all category names in the mod settings. (Thanks for reporting it, Amroth!)

Gap between architect info box and categories is now fully customizable

Hi ! Is it possible to remove the dependency of architect icons please ?
Is the mod completely hard coded? I can't find the texts to translate your mod.
Is it possible to take accents into account? I get this error when using the é sign

Config error in Architect_CustomTab_Décos._2: defName Architect_CustomTab_Décos._2 should only contain letters, numbers, underscores, or dashes.

also, wanted to indicate I have tested with simply the required mods as well as various combinations of additional icons & moved them around in mod load order - without success in bringing back icon customization availability. Again, thanks for looking into this when you have a chance.

Having same issue as Nelim17 & Aptem997 - icons are not available. I do have the dependency, Architect Icons installed, plus Optional Icons for Architect Icons by Proxyer. When using drag sort, this Optional Icons mod populates with mod specific icons - but when I add Category Manager they are deleted or replaced with blurry generics. From 3rd photo in mod showcase here, only first two categories populate - not the UI icons or Command Icons subsections. Thanks for this mod, customization is awesome, hoping to get access to icons back as well :)

Rimano shows up for me, with no problem, i use Rimsort since rimpy is very outdated. Might be a load order problem.

I do notice tho vanilla expanded does not show up. I will look in to that and fix it in the weekend.

100% yes. I work with mods through the mod manager "RimPy" and it is immediately written there if the key mod is missing.

Same "problem" here, my icons pack don't show up, even when searching.

@Артём997 working on my end. I would recommend reinstall the icon pack and my mod, steam might have corrupted the download for you.

Also try search for the icons and see if they pop up with the search function.

I added mods for icons ("Riemano: Architect Icons" and
"Architectural Icons for Vanilla Expanded"), but they don't show up. Am I doing something wrong?
