Description
3/17/25 - this was a side project into coding, and as such I'm not very experienced. I'm not happy with the performance impact of this mod and probably will not update it further.

Adds the ability to adjust the factors by which items are affected by quality.

do you want a legendary bed to have 8.00 comfort? you can now. (without digging into the XMLs)

Also adds flammability, mass, ranged, and melee cooldown as factors that can be affected by quality.

All values are configurable in the mod settings.
See 2nd picture for Vanilla (+ this mod) list of customizable quality factors
you may have to restart your game or save for settings to take effect.
Slider values go from -100% to 1000%, negative values change effect depending on the stat.


The mod functionality and settings menu is dynamically generated and will incorporate quality factors from other mods (e.g. sight efficiency from combat extended).

The features implemented by these mods are already within the scope I wanted and they don't need to be replaced.

The mod options doesn't seem to show the slider to customize the quality factors, anyone else run into a similar issue?

If you feel like continuing these efforts, might I suggest you take a look at Infusions II? It does something similar, with custom effects that can be added (when crafting high-quality items, or buying and applying infusers directly). Creating an extension mod to that to add new effects might be a more effective route if you're still learning coding :)

Does the deterioration rate effect act in reverse? Like is 200% deterioration rate on legendary items mean they deteriate twice as fast?
